  3. ChrisS does have a big and cosy looking garage if I member rightly! It's about 600 nicker from the cheaper companies so not horrific.
  4. That's the one I'm hoping to do bud......foundation and practitioner in a 5 day course.
  5. Not really mate......the main thing I was worried about were the cheapo companies being utterly crap which by the sounds of it they're actually just good value.
  6. Free if your made redundant (something like 1500 squid of retraining handouts to snaffle). It's finance/ banking at the moment but I'm keen to diversify! They are the 2 that I've seen mate but as they were both very cheap comparatively I thought they might be a gang of bronco's so that's a useful recommendation.
  7. It's be even harsher if I wasn't bloody half welsh living a mear 3 miles from the border in which case I could grasp it myself.......I want fweeeebies! :-(
  8. Can't be arsed reading 10 pages but ^^ this Self employed also means 'does not know where the next job is coming from'. Therefore if your happy with the quote then what's the problem? Doesn't matter if the job takes 5 days or 5 mins .....if its dont right and that's what matters to you then smile and be happy. Also totally agree with what Dan said.......I always buy utter shite from eBay and all sorts just to save 10 quid. Then I wonder why the bloody laminate won't fit together, the thread on the shitty tap strips, the crappy internals of something or another break after 5 mins and the light fittings stop working. Admittedly I don't actually get a contractor to come and install any of this crap so it's probably actually my workmanship rather than the product but for the purposes of this conversation it's for the best that we blame the parts rather than the workman!
  9. Any recommendations on course providers etc? Got a reasonable amount of practical experience but as I'm possibly not possibly maybe will but maybe probably won't be made redundant depending whether my ****ing ass ****ing turd sucking ball ****ing god damn mother ****ing ass gnawing winnet eating @*!# stabbing god for ****ing saken bastard of an employer ever makes its mind up I may or may not be in a position to take the time to get a few more qualifications under my belt. And before anyone asks.....no I don't live in bastard Wales so I will have to ****ing pay for it myself whilst the grasping Welsh get it for **** all. I'm not in a good mood of late somehow.
  10. I've actually seen so many pictures of that car that when I close my eyes it's burnt into my retinas
  11. Even if they are much much cheaper? E.g. IMO the polite Indian staff of 3 are much better than the rude UK staff at EE/orange. Same with most people at halifax can gtf but AMEX has Eastern Asian call centres I think and they are so so so helpful. Agreed far politer but ultimately usually far more useless at helping. Not their fault mind......if I was stuck on the end of the phone listening to someone talking in various dialects of punjabi I'd be far less useful because unlike them I'm too ignorant to learn another language. On another point just how fecked off would you be as a qualified doctor/lawyer etc (as most of them are) and end up plying yor trade listening to moaning Brits all day. It's no wonder these nations are desperate for nuclear power.......Bollocks to religious reasons nuke the site from orbit just because ive got to answer the phone to the pissflap motherfeckers moaning about their sodding Internet/gas/car insurance day in day out!
  12. I was preparing for the worst but we squirrels are to wiley for stoopid so called 'big cats'
  13. Private plate and a baseball capped type at the wheel. Can't for the buggery of me remember where it was though.....city centre somewhere
  14. Some bad news Annie........builder49 is getting married and its not to you You left him to his own devices so someone else will become his 8th wife
  15. It's the strangled squeal that it omits before giving up that makes me think something is very very cold and feeling a bit sleepy as a result. I'll have a crack tomorrow cheers all
  16. That's not actually a bad question. Whilst it should be an obvious 'dur! Of course' the positive terminal clamp is really weird. It won't seem to tighten up properly. It's a normal looking clamp but has a piece of plastic in the middle.......fully tightened it still seems slack.
  17. Battery is brand new and put on this morning. It sounded starter motorish to me. Checked oil and its got loads 156 2 litre jts petrol.
  18. Not as bad as the k1 but it apparently can be a bit on the droney side on long journeys. I think the cobra sounds nice but not as nice as the scorpion.
  19. Also this post makes next to no frigging sense and I'm sure I didn't write it in the order that its posted! Frigging ipad
  20. Go on an alfa forum blah blah blah.......yeah well I don't want to so fix it for me and fix it now! Alfa has been sat for ages 2 months maybe. Our very own toonchris fixed the key for me (ossum service I might add Chris....top man). Brand spanking new battery fully charged but when I turn it over its making a rather pathetic noise like its ceased up. It sounds almost as if its got a flat battery but makes the odd strangled squeal before giving up trying. Could it be because of the cold weather like you see in every movie set in Russia where they have to **** the starter motor with a hammer to make it fire?!? It started first turn of the key whilst it was in use. I love my alfa and I want her back alive so she can go to a farm out in the countryside to roam free with all the other little alfa's. The engine has been caked in snow all week long.
  21. I believe it can and aside from the fact that these aren't a perfect fit without a little fettlng they are my favourite spoiler
  22. It's like 2010 husky and biscuit never left (those that know will understand)
