  1. Nope, I had bother as well, took an hour to finally log on!
  2. Berks HFC's are a quality item, and the brackets put no strain on any other part, you won't regret it
  3. Tame Seriously nice sound I can't reccommend the Berk HFC's highly enough (is tame though )
  4. +1 on keeping it, when I fitted a Borla to my old RX-8, I gave my stock one away So when it came time to sell, I was stuck without a stock one to sell on my Borla. Luckily, I got a buyer who was willing to swap his stock one and part with some cash Have you noticed how heavy the stock one is? The cats also weigh the equivelant of 2 moons!!
  5. Pah!! Detailing an Azure is easy, a real challenge is an Ebisu! When do you want to take up the challenge Seriously Irfan, that looks the puppy's ganglies mate Very, very
  6. Yup, I'm off tomoz and Wednesday mate , busy in the morning but should be about in the afternoon
  7. I'm also 24, looks like a nice clean Zed there Make sure you tell Neil all you're history, he'll not stop till he knows Hey TC, I've got yer disc
  8. I don't know the difference, but either way your Z will sound absolutely awesome, I put some vids up, they were totally rubbish quality, my Berks along with the Akro, are truly the sound of thunder. I think it'll impress at LakeZ No drone at cruising, or in lower gears at low revs, but hit the, now very, loud pedal from 2.5krpm up and it puts a manic grin on my fazug I wish I had done this years ago with other aftermarkets and cars I've owned Oh and the throttle response is way better, pulls harder and has the sound of a proper muscle engined car. You don't, in my opinion, get a proper idea of the sound with the car just sitting revving, you have to hear them on the go, from inside or outside, to form a true picture
  9. This one was a fair effort a couple of years ago
  10. I would be tempted to go for a powder coat on all four, unless you do find someone that offers a fantastic match. This way you can get a darker/lighter/change of colour that will last and can be matched in the future
  11. I don't think it is that simple, while the stock would be bottom of the "sound" list, I'm sure there'd be a mix on the others. What you're paying for on the Akro is a true duel exhaust, no Y pipe, on the Evolution set up, vid here http://www.akrapovic.com/car-exhaust/pr ... e0a8ca8ad/, What you get is a very nice noise under "load", no drone at cruise and is actually quite subtle. The way I've got it set up now, with the Berks, then I can make it sing at anytime, well that's my prognosis. I haven't heard that many and to be fair, the ones I have heard were all on 350's. You're right though about price, but there are deals to be done out there (I was originally looking at a Borla system, worth checking out), also I'm thinking ahead a bit, with the UpRev in mind, I believe with my current set up, it'll see the best gains, without, but possibly with, forced induction. I'm no technical expert but I'd be surprised if Abbey or the likes couldn't squeeze a fairly big rise in power. What doesn't help with the Akro is the price of the tips My next mod, if I can stop the cosmetic distraction, will be on the suspension, nothing more than a simple set of Eibachs, the stock set up is a bit too "loose" if you get what I mean, good and capable, but just a tad American, if that makes sense. Good luck with your choice, I'm sure it'll be lovely sounding
  12. 370nel's exhaust is a sweet sounding box I went mental though and bought an Akrapovic Evolution coupled with Berk HFC's, awesome sounding, but a tad extravagant Whatever you get, you've got the bonus of hearing it with the roof down
  13. I'll keep you posted, gutted though as I was particularly looking forward to the Mazda 787b, as it's the 20th anniversary of Herberts win at Le Mans and Mazda will be showing it off
  14. Bah, won't be maling it this year , had to use my spare holibags for domestic rather than pleasure reasons. What I would like to do though, all being well, is run an organised trip next year for Zeds It's not that difficult a task and with good preperation and the right contacts, is entirely doable I'll start something around Oct/Nov and take it from there. To all those deploying this year, have a great time
  15. ....or this http://www.google.co.uk/products/catalo ... DsQ8wIwAA#
  16. I knew what you meant though Although you can go scary fast on the de-restricted roads, you can all too soon be sending your foot through the brake peddle if you don't pay attention
  17. Nice one Did you get the chance for a "spirited" Autobahn run? Thomas, your friend, wasn't trying at 120 I've always found the Germans very capable drivers, the French though, tend to drive up the backside of a lorry and at the last second, indicate and pull out Glad you had a great experience, now, get yourself to the South of France for a special odyssey , get married there, not to Husky though It really is the best driving in Europe Planning on getting down there later in the year
  18. Ok bear with these vids, they're not from the most modern camera in the world, but with the help of some Gaffa tape and a few knitting needles, I kinda got a wee drive by today, eventually You may want to fast forward the first and second one
  19. Going to get mine done, probably next week, machine polish, wax and sealant, I think I'll check the blokes bucket first On a more serious note, the owner of the Garage in Motherwell, where I had the Berks fitted, has just bought a 350 as his daily drive (he has all sorts of exotic Skylines etc), he loves it and while chatting, I discovered he was having the car detailed later that day, from the same fella that was reccommended to me He's used him loads of times and couldn't speak highly enough of the lad, so that was enough of an endorsment for me
  20. It's not fuel mate, just condensation/by product, the smoke is the residual of the stuff used in fitting and coating I guess. The Berks have only one very free flowing element, the stock has two, more restrictive elements. A bonus is that the weight of the Berks v Stock is about 15kg, well it feels like that It doesn't smoke or throw out any residue when warm, that vid was first thing this morning
  21. I'm in the process of uploading a drive by vid, my camera is sh1te and Linda's is on some wierd setting that the video is going at 5 times the speed, need to look at her manual Once I get these two vids up, you'll get a better idea, just bear with it as I took a while to turn round to drive past , you'll see tractors and all sorts The sound is IMMENSE, the immediate effect on response is more than noticeable, used up 3/4 tank today just hooning around The dog thinks her legs have been cut off as I haven't walked her today
  22. One of the sh1t ones I took In fact that was so bad I've deleted it
  23. This, with Berks added! Compared to the Akro on it's own! I botched the very first start up, so this was the third or fourth attempt I've got some video on the move, but I'll need to do it again and re-position the camera, wasn't getting the full effect, then the battery ran out Do it this afternoon
  24. Super pictures there Jay BTW, I want those wheels Chris, we eat our first born, so imagine what we do to foriners , mostly satay them in peanut sauce I don't think I'll ever mod my Zed
  25. Fitted the HFC's today! This type of noise should be classed as PORNOGRAPHIC! The Berks have TOTALLY TRANSFORMEDthe Akro and the whole car to be honest . The rev match is fooking immense sounding For anyone with an aftermarket exhaust, do yourself a favour, get the best out of it by adding a set of these I'm working later but will get a sound clip up tomorrow
