  1. not a hope in hell would that embarrass you! However, did you see wasso doing his hair with hairspray by viewing his reflection in the car window! Was really funny! You try making yourself respectable after sleeping rough in a tent! Does wonders for your image. We were the unlucky ones to have no running water in the toilets and freezing cold showers. Had to try and make myself decent you know I did offer you the use of our room , and Jays straighteners
  2. First two dates I'm backshift , might make the third, will think about tracking
  3. Try and get one with the updated Connect Premium, Nissan updated it quite sneakily and very early on after initial release, the one with the 9gb storage. Other than that anice touch is the illuminated Z's in the kickplates, top tip about the mudflap thingy's as well. I would at an early stage, look at getting a clear shield on the sills, they do take a bit of stone damage. I nearly had the whole front end done by this lot http://www.paintshield.co.uk/, but my bonnet had two minute imperfections and needed a respray first It was done at Nissans expense in a Bentley approved shop and the match is perfect. Going to get the bumper re-sprayed at some point, the Valley track day put a lot of "manly" grit my way and then have the sills and front end done with the lot in the link
  4. I can confirm this 'conservative' statement. And for the record.................. George, DID pay for his buffet. Well you were either chasing me for the buffet tickets or you liked me in my kilt , oh and Linda said it was 77 pints On topic a bit, I believe the Berks will enhance any aftermarket and sounds terrific when under load, just as it should be
  5. I think the lack of chat is down to owners just have it on at all times, I do It took me a month or so to stop heel/toeing coming from my Rex. Now when on a spirited drive, the downshifts are seamless, an astoundingly good feature. You really must go and tst drive one
  6. I'll be bringing Ellie to the next one of these events, so a smaller T shirt me thinks Nismo, you're a star
  7. Told ya The noise you describe is normal, like a small hissy rasp on lift off? I had it explained to me by the owner of the place that fitted mine, but I've hade 14 bottles of wine, 76 pints, 1 bottle of Champagne and a bottle of whisky at LakeZ over the past couple of days, so my memory isn't what it used to be Enjoy it, it really does put a new slant on an aftermarket exhaust
  8. Martin you really were and your good lady was a great 2ic The attention to detail and effort that you both put in was epic, sir I salute you Linda and I had a great weekend, and we would like thank everyone who put up, mostly with me, and provided stupendous company and extended warm friendliness towards us both Our enjoyment of the weekend was not dampened (no pun intended ) by the weather, I think this actually adds to the atmosphere with the added stoicism of those camping. It was a great way to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary Great to put faces to names and meet some of the "Team" that make the club and forum a success, I take my hat off to them Well done to all the prize winners, the cars looked fantastic, not two the same We had a great day out on Saturday and have taken away a great impression of The Lake District, our lunchstop today at Glenridding on Lake Ullswater was superb and a fitting end to what was a great weekend I've ordered two new kidneys and a couple of spare livers to replace the ones I burnt out since Friday. Too much to mention regards funny incidents so I'll keep it relatively short, thanks to Vicky, Gary, Atholl, Kylie, Kevin and Andrew (glad you got the car mate ) the Out There Brothers, Neil and Jay and to their long suffering partners, Nicole and Laura, you were all great company To all the rest, , you were great

  16. Think I might be giving this one a miss now Now't wrong with a couple of pale scottish red headed guys in "bathing suits". Just remember the sun cream Thought that was me for a minute , but not ginger enough
  17. Its the only situation where the use of a broken glass to inflict injury is acceptable.......when some dirty evil thieving little scrote needs to be neutered to prevent him from spawning any offspring who will carry his cretinious genes. Get off the fence and say what you mean
  18. Not had it done, yet, but I was under the impression that it was a multi map, maybe been fed wrong info, still on the list though
  19. Bags a shot Detailed mine on Sunday AND Monday, not moved off the drive all week as I don't have enough air capacity for my scuba tanks!! That's how wet it's been up here Latest is, to be dry Friday (this is the one I'm believing), tropical Saturday and totally windless and bone dry Sunday My glass is permanently full Neil is bringing the spare mankini's and will have full glasses at the ready for our arrival
  20. Ssshh you, I'm a reformed character
  21. Supprising as the comments I had in Wales was that my car was railing the corners better than the 350z, being noticably flatter. It certainly feels like it too. Having KW V3 does make you a little better than the OEM setup to say the least Lol even my car with eibachs was absolutely astonishing handling wise. The kw's did make the car feel alot more planted and "attached" to the tarmac. Maybe my judgement is just poor lol. The track day at Wales did have very fast corners on it with entry and drive through speeds of over 80-90mph. George actually came of saying that he was gonna buy eibachs to try and give it more of a planted feel. Ill need to ask him for a shot of his and see for myself ... Eh George? I will add when I was out in his 370z for the first time the other night it was awesome. The interior is fantastic and the drive and ride quality was awesome. Doubled up with the beautiful song of the hfc's and akrapovic exhaust it definately changed my opinion of them. I wasn't a fan before if I'm completely honest but he sold it to me well on a nice country drive Yup, definately felt that the ride was a bit high, if that's the right term. It took me a whole summer to get on top of my old 8, the 370 is a different beast altogether. I'm only just starting to find my feet with her, now that we're in full summer flow If I took her on a track now, just a few months down the line, it'd be a different drive and driver. That was probably part of it when I took you out for a spin Neil, I'll maybe let you loose for a few laps on our next trackday As for the RX8 engine being only 40kg lighter, I don't quite think that, that is right, the RX8's advantage is that it's near as dammit a mid engined car, so far back that it has to be small. It also has aluminium rear doors and bonnet, oh and only 4 spark plugs
  22. Don't know too much about the 350's weight, what I do know is the 370's exhaust system weighs the equivalent of a small house, also the wheels, on a GT spec at anyrate, are bigger than a 350's. Again I've no idea of the differnt weights
  23. It really was a pleasant surprise the mpg for a 3.5/3.7l V6 Coming from a RX8 and having another 100bhp to play with, it made sense if I wanted to still have a sports car. Interesting that the TT is similar to the RX8 (on a good day!). It's alo worth bearing in mind that the better looked after and serviced car, will always deliver good mpg (except an RX8 ) But it always comes down to, if you have to worry about mpg, not that I'm saying you are but generally, it' the wrong car.
  24. Always the first things I pack No budgie smugglers for me I'm afraid! I rock thongs on the weekends I have two very green mankinis going spare Can't wait to see you and Polly in them
