  1. Its about what you have got not other people, i have had a mate around with 600bhp single Supra so should i count that too? Oh ok then, 370Z - 340ish, I reckon at the minute, Mini cooper S - 180ish Seat Leon - 150ish Honda Lawnmower - 5.5bhp Perkins 4016-61TRG Gen Set 4000BHP I win
  2. For a minute there, I thought this was my mrs badminton mate, she has just recently took delivery of a GTR Enhanced , and her hubby has a 911 No idea what the total is there, but it must be close to 900bhp between them Oh and her mate and hubby are off up to Oban tomorrow so keep an eye out for a rather nice GTR
  3. Ooooohh! It's a whole lot of witchcraft that happens, usually it starts raining
  4. getting paid for OT is not all it's cracked up to be, couple of months ago I worked @ 20hrs OT, the following month I worked zero hrs, lost most of the OT in income tax, NI and pension contributions I don't do a lot of OT, but I'll be doing less now, it's just not worth it
  5. Yes I read the taxes bit, so a child or a pensioner can't BENEFIT from the NHS, if they haven't paid taxes, remember, the NHS is a BENEFIT, but as you agree it's a complex situation. I remember the teachers calamatous strikes of the late 70's early 80's, all the extra time that teachers put in for clubs/sports/marking etc was withdrawn, in Scotland anyway, for years, it totally destroyed a whole generation of youth developement. That was an important part of the teaching profession's contribution to society. And for that I applaud them. Oh and I wasn't at school then, I was paying taxes
  6. We all are Rich. i know, but why use my pension to pay for it? i'd rather see benefits cut first, turf all the lazy gits out and let them fend for themselves. if you haven't paid taxes, you can't claim benefits. that should mean those who have worked hard, and paid taxes, get help. and those that scrounge off the state don't. Would that include unemployed teachers? Or do we just go with what the "general" feeling of what a "scrounger" is? Shall we just turf all the families that depend on benefits due to a severe lack of jobs, out into the wilds? I'm sure your not advocating that, but it's a far more complex situation than the current pension thievery. Let's start making a prison sentence for first offenders only, think about it, 2nd offence and your out
  7. I just wish the "Private" sector went on strike back in the day when Gordon Broon robbed their pension pots in 1997! He single handedly laid the foundations to this country's pension woes, looked after the "City", take all the peasants cash and gave it to them to play with, he's the real ***** in all this. Now private and public pensions are being affected by the little publicised act that has changed the way your pension is index linked, not RPI anymore, it's now CPI, which just happens to be a lower rate I'm spending every penny I earn, saving f*ck all, as my savings continue to lose money even in the highest paying ISA's etc, I'm going to smoke and drink more, be a fat **** and be a general pest to the state, so there!!!

  21. It started better than the last series, only just Watched the sky+ recording of Fridays 5th gear straight after, and it had more content IMO. TG's Jag love in was a week behind 5th Gear, but a better, although tongue in cheek, tribute. I'll still watch both and hopefully TG will continue to improve
