  1. As someone commented to someone else on another thread, I already hate you and I don't even know ya! Lucky barsteward
  2. Exhaust and Berks first IMO, followed by the plenum(I have no idea on this part tho ), then uprev(although I don't have this yet), save a few trips back and forth
  3. That's an ambitious drive in that time, 3000 miles in 8 nights (did I count this right?). I've done a few really big tours over the years, one of the first was 4.5k miles in 17 days, on the single night stops, we always arrived knackered then set off next day for a destination and, even staying three nights it was drive all day, 1st night knackered, second day/night, bit of sightseeing resting, third day, just about recovered before an early bed and off again the next day and so on with a mixture of 1, 2 and 3 night stays. We needed a holiday after it! Bearing in mind we always, apart from once arriving in Newcastle, had a big drive/overnight from a Channel port. In subsequent years we've done bigger trips but took 3-4 weeks with very few one nighters. I wish I had your energy, as the last thing I'd want to do after your first part, is thrash about round the Ring for a few days I much prefer a more relaxed GT type tour with shorter journeys in between longer stays, there was one year we even went to Portugal for the day from Northern Spain, (A' Caruna, to be exact), just to bag another country , before heading back over to Pamplona Good luck anyway and I hope it all goes well and you stay safe
  4. 1. Only the down on auto 2. Not on UK models
  5. On a trip to Le Mans a few moons ago, I decalled my car to the max, one of the decals was some oriental writing, some smart fart pointed out that my Chinese decals were on upside down This smart fart pointed out, that the Chinese decals were actually Japanese Not a regret, really, but the front moustache decal was, made my car look gay
  6. Corrected that for you To me its not even a choice, you have to get it done to give the car the voice it deserves. I know a lot of people think it will make it chavvy and loud, but stock its just so quiet. It just makes it a nice level, quiet when cruising and around town at low revs and a nice bit of bark when giving it beans Thanks Chris The only criticism, and this is just purely a personal choice, is the tips, too shiney for me, but hey, it's all about the sound, now the second thing that is a MUST, HFC's
  7. It's the first thing anyone with a 370 should do, mod the Zorst
  8. It was a great wee event The band were probably ok, but because of some logistical difficulties, the room they played in was too small which meant it was too loud, don't get me wrong, loud is good in the right circumstances, but at a social event, you really want to be able to communicate when the music was on or be able to get up and boogie (I'm some boogier BTW ) I'd suggest a disco, starting around 10ish to around 2ish, gives a chance to let the dinner/drink go down with a platform to let everyone shake a leg or seven, it also gives the other half's who are not car interested a reason for being there (that maybe sexist/wrong, but it's ok, I've done the diversity course ) A foam party , now that would be fantastic, also gives you a reason to show n shine As long as it doesn't clash with Le Mans or we aren't at war with Iran by then, count me in
  9. A two or three hour test drive with each may settle it for you, living with it is a different matter, there's not be too many that have done that. As it's a straight comparison to the 370/Z4 M and not specifically to other, earlier variants, it'll come down to your own opinion. Personally, and as someone who regurarly doesn't see any other 370's in a relatively populous area of the UK, other than the odd one at meets, the Z4 M doesn't offer the exclusivity/rarity, they are are literally a common sight along with TT's and Caymens for that matter round Glasgow/Central Scotland, with the Z4 M more common in the Edinburgh area.. Exclusivety isn't everything though, running costs, equipment/trim level/practicality all comes into the equation, some of the factors that you'll need to weigh up
  10. Oh I thought it was a comparison to the 370,
  11. Quite a bit of conjecture there, considering it's a very old (am I missing something?), report
  12. Had a long hard look at them before buying my 370, hmm, along with the usual suspects of a Tuetonic nature, at first it looks/feels bullet proof, but unlike RT above, I'm of the opinion that they already look dated. They are not as quick, but this may be subjective, as the 370, ("Kaiser Chiefed", remember that campaign?), very common, although not as common as the TT and you will sit at a junction for ever before anyone lets you out But hey, it's your money

    Toyota FT-86

I call mine Sonia, because she gets on most "sports" car owners nerves When perusing around Europe, she's a GT Sport Coupe, when dawdling around the doors, she's a thing of beauty, a kinda Sports Car Beauty that makes pedestrians walk into lampposts when gawping Soft tops are synonymous with coiffuring Back on topic, the FT 86 is a gorgeous little machine, but will be in the same class as a Celica, small, nippy and pretty
  14. That "sucking" or shall I call it 'hissing' sound is exactly what I get with my Akrapovic/Berk HFC combo. Cheers, Scotty Me too, brilliant, ain't it
  15. Get this on the over run, I think it's a feature and sounds great I love the combo
  16. If it helps my rears are wearing evenly, albeit a little too fast for my liking
  17. It was in the staff car park round the back, no Nismo stickers
  18. Nah Irfan, a grey/silver or similar colour
  19. Both times in a garage, no adjustment needed, you can contact them, RX8 done in Taggarts, 370 The Garage in Motherwell. Lowered both on Eibach Pro, no adjustment needed, no excessive tyre wear, well on the 8, so far on the 370 too early, but the 8 was extensively tracked, as in on a track and three humungous tours and not a scliff of rubber different Forgot to add, the 8 was taken back after two weeks running and THEN checked, not a jot had it moved
  20. My RX8 was the same matey, not one adjustment
  21. Lowered doesn't mean tracking/camber etc will be out. Just had mine lowered, not a degree or mm out of kilter. Properly done needs no adjustment I would guess tracking or balance
