Just put a post up on Jay's thread re badges and added a photo of my cars rear end with "improvised" badge. Then I decided to have a wee play with the editing tools on the site, now I'm no David Bailey and I'm inept and no geek with IT(for a start I've got too much colour in my complexion) Well I like the results, feel free to comment, laugh or edit, just a bit of fun really Original Having a play

Improvise, adapt and overcome Jay Still says Nissan, I would prefer Datsun, but until I see a suitable replacement, the devil stays

Just out of curiosity does the leather case have an Z logo on it or is it a generic Nissan case with Nissan embossed on it? Just says Nissan. Then I happened to look in cubby behind drivers seat and found the original case with manual. But there is no manual for navigation system in either case, did everyone else get one? I take it the one you found had the Z logo? Mine has it, Nissan only supply one case with the manuals, but it's not big enough to take the satnav manual as well as all the others!

The solution to the vibration against the brace is an easy fix, put a washer on each bolt between the brace and under body Your set up sounds awesome Nearly as good as the Akro/Berk combo

I run Eibach Pro springs and Eibach 25mm spacers all round, no issues, very aggressive stance and corners on rails, no more fat yank roll Drawback is that it's a much stiffer ride (although I've done a few 700mile trips and had no orthopedic injuries ), all good Both items were researched and purchased through ZMANALEX

I got married in Scotland, which will soon be abroad It's much warmer here than anywhere

I'm just getting used my 370 now and I've had high performance cars in the past. Probably a combination of being happier with a more hunkered down suspension, thanks to some Eibach Pro's and 25mm spacers. The handling now suits my style of driving. Once you realize that it's a car that can only be driven to its limits on normal roads very rarely, and I don't mean it's max speed and, the seduction of it's power has to be tempered on occasion, it becomes a very usable every day sports coupe with the added bonus of being an excellent GT car.

Thought there were two variants Their blurb claims true dual, "The new Borla Cat-Back™ System (PN 140045) is a true dual exhaust with the famous Borla XR-1® Race-Bred Mufflers", though it all goes into the one box, I was under the impression that "true dual" would have two back boxes as well Either way they are a quality item, and you get the "famous Borla million mile warranty"!

Erm.., I was in the Black 370 pulling the overtake in the opposite direction Sorry if it freaked you, but I did flash and wave (new tyres induced move )
-
The Borla for the 350 is not a "true dual", http://www.borla.com/products/search.as ... san%20350z, it's a catback. Had one on my old RX8, the sound is awesome

Did you buy your 350Z budgeting for £1500 a year in road tax? People live and budget to their means. What about the Ferrari 355 that can be bought for £34k - costs £215 a year to tax, and would now cost £2000. Lets say they inroduce that system here - every Z owner would be looking at about £1k a year or more increase in road tax. Would we all keep the cars and cough up that each year? I doubt the majority would. And then when they cant be sold, as the market drops through the floor as nobody else wants to pay the £1500 a year, you would be looking at a £15k Z, being worth maybe £8-9k overnight in order to shift it. So, you either cough up £1k more a year in road tax, sorn it until it maybe blows over, or sell it for a 6/7k loss. But you bought the car, so you can afford it, right? Couldn't agree more with Chesterfields analogy. This is precisely what happened in this country a few years ago when the mad new labour mob led by the loony left social worker brigade, introduced the different levels of VED and made it retrospective, then changed it then made it slightly retro again. The emission tax did for quite a few marks, one being the old rx8 and probably the 350, making one registered on the 25th of March 2006 or so paying around £220 per year and another registered on the 26th March 2006 £400 odd!! One became almost impossible to sell and the other the preferred option but without a premium. Don't forget we already have a "showroom tax", adding £750 onto the cost of a 370. Utterly swingeing indiscriminate tax on a car. The southern Irish introduced something similar a few years ago which makes owning a "sports car", very difficult All tax, when it comes to cars should be levied at the pump, fair tax for fair usage. The Italian will probably just ignore it and have an afternoon nap, spark up a ciggie and have a cappacino

This is what it is most likely to be, had the same prob with my set up. The guy who fitted it knew straight off what the issue was. He put an extra washer on the chassis brace nuts and a cure was had. Did the garage get it back on the ramp? If they go along the main pipe, it'll be almost certain to be NEARLY touching, but with the extra vibration on start up it just touches and causes the rattle

Not as lucky as her older sister, she got half the price of a 370 spent on her house So I'm getting off lightly Louise also got a shot in my old RX8, Heather is overdue a day in the 370, oh the joys of fatherhood On a serious note, I'll be with her all day, so crap tuition thrown in Neil, I'll give E sure a go as well, might even let you do the tuition

E Sure, Jay, I've heard before about one day insurance but can't remember who it was with, one of our policy's is an Admiral multi car policy, so it's an option

...for my 20 year old daughter! She passed her test last February, and is currently insured on my wife's Leon FR. Looking for one day insurance as a treat for, either on or about her 21st or sooner. Any pointers would be appreciated to insurance coverage thanks

Update! Thanks for all your suggestions, after trials with Evie, Pip and a few others, we eventually plumped for Rosie She's a bit poorly at the mo, we think either down to an infection has set in after her injections, she has a huge lump on her shoulder and is a bit lathergic. Linda took her to the vetenary hospital today and Rosie was given an anti inflamitory and antibiotic injections, back to the vets on Monday morning. She has perked up a bit since this morning, so fingers crossed that she's on the mend

I've no idea what that means , hopefully get a medal for that But, there is also a "Wanted" sub forum, which is an ideal place to post Ebay links to be a helpful little bunny
-
Hmmm, I wonder then, why the forum has a "Spotted on Ebay" sub forum and when someone posts on it they get slated, that's niot right, Shirley?
-
Bit unfair there buddy, but if you're short of "I'll dampen the spirit of the helpful posters informative post" medal, I'm sure you'll have won it I'll stick to polishing my real medals

Try sticking a pin down the jets, or disconect the hoses and blow through them, most likely blocked by crud
