Absolutely brilliant Best video I've seen on here

I think you probably had it pretty lucky being at the Wales meet and hearing the variety on show IMHO the HFC's with stock just wouldn't do the car justice, HFC's and aftermarket exhaust is the way to go. I reckon, apart from the likes of a K1 or Buddy Club, most are not intrusive in the cab at cruising speeds, another option would be to have a custom made exhaust, individual and advice on the level/depth of sound that you want by the manufacturer. There's a few on here that have successfully went down this route My advice if it's worth anything, would be to get a true dual system, coupled with HFC's. You're budget, at the end of the day, will dictate to a large extent the system you finally opt for.

Hi all you 370 owners As you are all no doubt aware, Nissan were a little naughty in developing the airflow past the sill area of our cars, borne out by the fact that to the rear of the sills the paintwork in this area becomes peppered with stone chips. This is the case whether you run stock, lowered, spacers, have mud guards fitted or a combination of these. To this end and remembering what a good job the small areas to the front of the rear wheel arch on my old RX8 that were done (Mazda fitted this to them all), I contacted Armourfend re getting some sort of sill protection on my 370. Now to the point, they will produce a template for the WHOLE of the sill and supply for £180 + VAT + £12 p&p, both sides obviously. They are willing to do a discounted price on a group buy but it's dependent on numbers. I'm going to speak to them again next week to order a set, and get more info regard labour costs for those that live close by, linky http://www.armourfend.co.uk/. Therefore an indication on numbers would be useful to further negotiations. I'm having my front bumper and sills re-sprayed next week and they have said that the paint needs to cure for at least six days before application, just for info if you are thinking of having your sills sprayed. So, Names: 01. The G Man Can you please copy and paste the name list on any further posts, so I can keep a quick tally, cheers

Got home about 2hrs ago, completely knacked Fantastic day, weather made it a worthwhile trip from HoopHoo land Loved meeting all you guys and girls and you are great company, the pics are brill, especially me n my chicks Some of you have beautiful cars, stunning examples of the modding scene and awesome looking Zeds!! Neil's face was a picture last night when he saw them posted up , he's gonna get his nuts in his mouth later when Nicole see's them, but it was all my fault, I take full responsibility, but Will must take a share as well Buster and Chris were also protagonists in getting Neil strung up The highlight for me was the show parade at the end, just a pity a few of you left, they actually brought the time forward a bit, over 100 cars on track, a record at Castle Combe. Two sort of normal laps then it degraded into a free for all on the third Hilarious but still safe. Thanks to Martin for organising this, fantastic job all round Right then, I'm away to bathe my big tomato heid in lard, I think it could be chips for tea

Those are Eibach 25mm front and rear, as I said, that piccy was before I stuck the Eibach Pro springs on. PM , he supplied both mods No, I'm wrong, just noticed the Eibach decal on the sill, that's lowered

Ah, disregard my pm Martin Neil it all arrived today, so I'll get them to you on Friday evening mate -
I've ordered the mud guards which are getting painted and put on at the painters. Reading some of your previous posts re the mud guards not being that effective against it, I'm still, for aesthetic reasons going to put them on, if anything it'll give Mrs G something else to damage I'll let you now if I get any joy with it but as I said, it was very effective on my 8 and a bonus was that it didn't seem to pit.

I'm shortly getting my front bumper and sills re-sprayed. The bumper due to excessive stone chips, mainly put there by a bit of aggressive driving at RAF Valley last year, man, the grit on that track was real manly grit Couple of weeks back Mrs G drove through a puddle that was disguising an abyss of a pot hole and put a couple of deep scores just in front of the tyre deflectors. The sills I'm getting done due to what appears to be a design flaw, as they too are pitted at the rear of them, with a definitive stop where the sills taper out. It's noticeable more, I think in a black car. The pitting was there pre-fitment of spacers and springs. Anyhoos, my old RX8 had Armour Fend on a couple of strategic places along the sills and back wheel arch, obviously Mazda did there development properly and these worked really well in protecting these areas. Speaking to the sprayer today and he'll fit for me after painting. So the question is, does anyone know of a supplier of Armour Fend or similar that I can purchase a roll, your help, as ever is much appreciated.

like most systems, 95% of the noise is produced by the baffles in the back box, so it's not likely that this set up will produce any difference to the sound.

Can i have a name change, 370z black ed, *pics*

Beautiful Fastest colour -
Of course all mods are a personal thing, personally I think the wheels on a 370, even 19" are lost in the arches. These pictures were before it was lowered.

Undriveable that low, contrast in colours is good

Been about 30 or so times ( stationed at RAF Bruggen a couple of times so the Dam wasn't that far away and I use to work for a Dutch company a while ago ) Firstly, GO TO THE RED LIGHT DISTRICT!, just after dark when it's at it's brightest, it is a must do even with partners, very colourful, yes a bit sleazy, but a one off! You're partners will not be offended. Some of the best bars and cafe's are in or around it. There is the usual suspects such as the Anne Frank, Van Gogh and Rembrandt museums, don't waste your money on the sex museum, it's pish! If getting a taxi, especially late at night, make sure you know the price before you get in, some of the taxi drivers are con artists and sometimes they can put up a fair fight Get a strippencart (sp?), for the trams, you can get them from Centraal Station and machines if I recall, gives you up to 10 journeys very cheaply, the No 2 tram, if it still runs, will take you round all the major attractions including the diamond centre, Leidsplien, etc. The Zoo, and don't laugh, is a great couple of hours and is a short but very scenic walk from the centre of town, good bars and cafe's en route and in the zoo. Lastly, if you decide to erm.. indulge in a bit of space cake, there is space cake and space cake!! Don't do as I did with my mrs and another couple we went with. I bought 4 coffees and two cakes, took the cakes to the table, returned for the coffees and when I bought them back my mrs and the other girl had scoffed the lot!!! "Hmm, delicious" they said, "real nice bit of banana loaf", fook me, Me and my mate spent the rest of the night babysitting two gibbering mongs that kept telling us that the doors to the hotel were turning into bananas!!!! Enjoy, the Malaysian restaurants are mostly great due to the Dutch colonial connection, and do have a shmoke and a panakinnen

Stone chips happen anyway mate without spacers, I've got a set of Eibachs on and it definitely improves the look/stance
-
That looks pooh to be honest, doesn't do the wheels or car justice.
-
Exhaust, HFC's, UpRev, oh and, spacers and lowered Run it in properly and then enjoy, Storm White is awesome
