  1. But not the same that developed the combustion engine eh?, or the vaccines for measles, eh? or the first airliner to break the speed of sound, eh? Not so clever now eh?
  2. Yeah, good effort, 3rd year metal work springs to mind, actually, 1st year, wow
  3. It is getting more schite as the years go on, James May is a knob, childish and infantile sense of humour, not for adults anymore (hasn't been since 2005), more for the dumbed down nation of TV watchers that have emerged from the playstation generation. Still give it a chance every Sunday, but sadly, dissapointed of late.
  4. These will be renewed under warranty, do not accept repair. Contact Nissan direct if offered a repair.
  5. Marque (singular) = Type of vehcle, Club = Car Club/Forum
  6. Ok it's not a Zed, but it's his choice to share on here his new motor, not my cup of tea either but a fun summer car. What you will find, as in all other car forums, when an owner moves on, whatever he moves onto, it will be a "better" car than their previous one. As a bit of an experiment on another forum, which I was a mod, myself and another mod hatched a bogus thread to prove a point, that no matter what anyone said they'd moved onto there was a lot of "flaming" from "loyal" owners. What we also clearly uncovered was that when a former owner of the said marque (dblock, my new stalker) of the club, moved on AND continued to be an active member through posting, they consistently rubbished at worst or criticised at best their former marque when commenting on anyone else who has moved on to a different car. It happens on all forums, some people just can't move on, but some people have legitimate criticisms, but should move on, but find it hard to, this forum is no different and it'll be the usual suspects who will continue to seem to have an axe to grind. Just as the owners, defend to the death their car clubs model. It takes all sorts, but that makes it interesting. Hope all that makes sense (Oh and Dan is the only one I would trust on anything Porsche, don't know why that matters, but it does to me) Good luck with the new motor, and enjoy
  7. Yeah, that's it ' i'm innumerate, but literate
  8. Now Sold, can a mod please adjust the title to reflect this. Thanks.
  9. These are provisionally sold, once confirmed, I'll post accordingly. Thanks to all who've looked
  10. PDK? You going for a porshce? I'm pretty sure you telling me how 370's are better than caymans etc etc and me not agreeing? What you getting? I think you'll find buddy that I was referring to VFM, not that they were better, simply more bang for the buck. The new 984 Cayman is in a different league to the older model, and if and when I did get one, you'll be the first to know (PS, it's Porsche )
  11. The semi auto is the same as the 370 box, very good indeed, once my knees and hips finally go, I'd be up for a box like this , or a PDK, which is likelier . The big 4x4 range is awesome looking and beautifully spec'd. Good luck with the test drive, it'll be very different from your Z.
  12. Laden with extras, fast and smooth, not sure as to the look but drives like a dream. I've got a cheeky weekend test drive booked for next weekend with the convertible, but I'm going to decline as other irons are in the fire. Had the G37 coupe as a courtesy car on a few occasions, very comfortable, alas not for me.
  13. Had an offer today that was a tad low, my counter offer was very good IMO, so alas, these are still for sale.
  14. Here's a nice link, (American), plagiarised from another non related thread, sort of http://nissanhelp.com/models/2013/370z_coupe_nismo/index.php

Never had it happen to me either, or seen it take place. What I will say though if it's an organised rally or you are going to Le Mans, the cops are all over the toll booth areas like a rash. Mainly, they hide under bushes or on top of flyovers, with radar guns and radio ahead with car descriptions, then they have you at the toll booth as you have to stop, so no chase or drama for them. I prefer to stick to non toll roads when possible, if I do use tolls, you can still rack up a fair pace and avoid the Gendarme's.
