  1. Ahh, happy memories, apart from climbing all those stairs up to the church in Moustiers, I had a chest infection at the time. Great pictures . Did you do both sides of the Gorge du Verdun? We had a gite on Lac Sur Mere, just outside Moustier, for a week a couple of years ago, my most favourite part of France

It is small, but so's the Mini, in terms of boot size, Clio is a bit bigger, my niece has a VW Up, and her and my sister regurarly travel up from London to Hoop Hoo land in it, good size boot for a supermini.

Another one I was impressed with was the new Clio, beautiful looking car. And there's some cracking deals on the Fiat 500.
  4. Agreed on that, roof, front fangs and rear "difuser" and it's complete

Erm, it's not, my little girl has just bought one and although you're nearly right on the basic model, at least it has style on the outside and The Cooper is way above basic

Overpriced, underspec'd, and very, very dull!
  7. This is what happens when you eat GM food It would be interesting doing the same thing in the UK
  8. I fit the description, but it wasn't me, coupe I'm afraid
  9. If these are the only three connections that you've undone when you fitted the fan, definitely check them, both ends, also is there any noise/squeel from the water pump?, there'll be hoses in that region. This type of thing is, while not common, something that can happen when a new coolant change has been done. The new coolant will find the smallest of leaks as any deposits from the old stuff is stripped off. Also give the radiator a good look. Hopefully it's not serious, I'm doubtful as to whether it is. Another possibility is that you haven't topped up the coolant enough after fitment and/or not bled the air out for long enough. If this is the case then you should see no further drop off in coolant levels.
  10. Hmm, you shouldn't really be losing any coolant at all, there must be a minute leak somewhere, small enough to evaporate when running, probably as system is pressurised, but too small to have any obvious signs of leakage when not pressurised. Check all your hoses again and give any clips a tighten up. Might have to drain and undo, redo up then refill.
  11. yours was free last time - the forum is paying for them Linda's wasn't . Yeah, I was just pointing out HOW LUCKY CLUB MEMBERS ARE, SO SUPPORT
  12. Thought I could make this but diary says , it's a great event, both me and Linda enjoyed it immensely last time we were there, and free tickets as well, you lucky people
  13. If nearly new, then a lot of Mini's will most likely have this cover, it's fully transferable, if new then I'm sure you can negotiate the cover as part of the deal, currently it's £249 for the five years. Oh and Mini finance is currently 1.5% APR, down from 3.5 last month.
  14. My middle daughter had a Cooper S, 58 plate turbo version, she loved that car, she had a baby last year and traded it in for a bigger four door car. She never had any issues. I believe that the earlier supercharged versions were heavier on fuel. Hers also came with the Mini TLC cover, 5 years servicing and MOT, she did have the tyre pressure light come on, but with the TLC pack it was quickly resolved. My youngest has just bought a Cooper Coupe, it's new and also comes with the TLC cover. They are great cars IMO and, yes, girls love their Mini's.
  15. Awesome replacement . Makes going to the local amenity site with garden/household rubbish a whole new experience Hope all goes well with the baby and the sale
  16. If you have any modifications to any breathing elements, cats, exhaust, intake etc, the Uprev will maximise the gains claimed by the manufcturer. It will increase torque, BHP and provide an increase in MPG.
  17. Awe, don't be like that, I'm being nice to you.
  18. Don't ever assume you're my mate. Can't resist, good story bro! Ya wee shark ye
  19. I'm sorry, how do you know exactly what I have/have not driven? If you could point me to the part of my comment where I said the 370 was in anyway a poor car or a bad choice, then that would be great. OH WAIT I DIDN'T The 370 isn't a popular car: Nissan haven't sold many at all, not compared to the 350, hence my comment. You don't see many on the roads at all, mostly because no-one wants a large-engined car with poor fuel consumption and high road tax. It's the way of the world and all large-engined cars of the same ilk have suffered equally, and unless fuel suddenly drops in price or VED or insurance is slashed then that's the way it will stay. It's great for the end user who can pick up a bargain, but don't kid yourself that the 370 is at the end of the depreciation curve. It's not, not by a long shot. Like I said, I don't care one jot about depreciation but some people do, which is why I mentioned it. Sorry matey, but there's no need to have a pop at me and basically accuse me for slagging off the 370 when I did no such thing. I gave an opinion, and I'd like think a relatively unbiased one seeing as how I don't even own a 370. Whether the OP chooses to take that into consideration is their own choice.
  20. Dblock and probably others will be glad to hear, I've moved on from will.i.am, to this, everyday is a school day for me with my inherited iphone
  21. Don't know if this is a relevant enough announcement, but well done, keep up the good work Just as I posted you moved it.
  22. You won't be able to push the 370 in the same fashion as the 8, and yes, you will have to be aware of surrounding conditions, there's a LOT more power going through the rears. That said there will be times where it will want to be pushed, you'll be busier, not with gear changes like in the 8, but with thinking,"Fook me, I'd better get ready for this bend". Don't listen to Ekona, he's jealous of the 370 , and hasn't driven one long enough, if at all to give an unbiased opinion, he is good with most marque's, just not the 370 and depreciation has just about bottomed out on a 3-4 year old model, then it'll be no different to the 350, the 8 was/is awful in that respect, by far the poorest in this range of cars Honestly buddy, after about the 5-6 seconds it takes you to get up to Mway speed, you'll be left wondering what the 8 was all about. Also, don't forget, that with the GT spec you have the rev match system on the downchanges, has left me with minimal heel/toe ability now, whereas I was forever doing it in the 8. Oh and don't tell them on the RX8OC that you're buying a Datsun, 'cause, they won't believe that anything can better an 8, far less a Datsun
  23. Double bagger...wear one yourself, just in case hers falls off I wouldn't push her out the way to get to either of you two, car on the other hand......
