  1. Good effort Craig, the nights must be fairly drawing in at your country pile I found myself looking at the pallet my raised loft flooring arrived on and thought, hmmmm, a pallet, feck it, bin Naw, only kidding buddy, a real flair there
  2. Fantastic, love the write up. I love France, need to get back soon.
  3. The new Cayman is the bomb, that's not a bad one either. Had a chat with an owner of one like this at Knockhill last year, he reckons he would need a good chiropractor pretty soon and, he'd just bought it doh! Couldn't live with the 'less is more' handles though. Enjoy you're new ride mister
  4. Finished a bit early for Crimbo, 05 Dec to be precise, great day to have a birthday . First day back is the 27 Jan 15, pretty awesome break, well deserved though as I'm a hard working chap. Couple of miscellaneous bits to get for Crimbo day, everything else all done and prepped for the big day, and being chief cook and bottle washer, that's the way I like it. All the best to ALL of you, friend and foe alike, and in light of what happened in Glasgow today, may you never know tragedy such as those poor souls. Oh and being retired doesn't count, you're off all year
  5. Trying the hard sell aren't you!!! I'll keep considering it I wouldn't, I think the wiper delete doesn't look good at all. In fact I wish I had a small wiper on the rear camera, find that the rear wiper is invaluable when the back window is covered in rain and reversing out my drive.
  6. Nice addition, got them thrown in when I got my Nismo, had them in my last 70 as well

    Help

Doesn't matter which button you press, it'll not lock with a key inside, one circumstance it might is if the key battery is dead.
  8. You will start the Mk1 owners off again saying things like that There's always one chopper in the woods, though surprisingly, it is possible to like both variants, shocker eh? Something that some are still to learn. One thing though, vitriolic in their consistency. Nice car buddy, said before
  9. Nice car, just missing a wing of note . And Ekona..... Where's the shout of 'should be a fire breathing dragon' You're so fickle
  10. To be fair, 'trick or treat' has fantastic roots here in Scotland. We call it guising, now I'm as old as the hills but from age 4/5 to 11/12 we all went out guising and we had to have a song, joke or trick to perform before getting a treat, usually an apple, orange or if lucky a chocolate bar (usually a curly wurly). Now I'm talking over 40 years ago! Forgot to say, we had to be in disguise, fancy dress f you like.
  11. You could've asked them to pick your car up and drop off the courtesy car
  12. I had my last 70 up revved after fitting HFCs still got the error after a while. If it was me, I would take the HFCs out. I could not be bothered with the trouble, also as mentioned, you may ignore a future, more serious error.
  13. My HFC's eventually caused the same light to come on periodically on my last 70, it's a simple reset but the chances are it'll happen again.
  14. Fluid level ok? Pump on the way out? Any sign of leaks? Worn seal? Should be looked at really by someone competent, bit of a safety issue.
  15. It's for weight reduction apparently, 100 kg lighter than the last model. 370 starts off heavy and doesn't gain much reduction from a rag top.
  16. Someone had better tell Mazda this, new MX5 is rag top only.
  17. in English law, does your mortgage company allow you possession of the title deeds to your house, when you still owe on your mortgage? One for solicitors probably.
  18. As per my Corps directive, wearing mine behind my cap badge since the first and I'll be on parade on Sunday somewhere in Afghanistan. As an aside, was working with the MWD in Bastion, they came under our command near the end, great bunch of lads and lasses, Liam Tasker and Theo are well remembered. Got a few stories from where I am now about the MWD, but I'll save that when we're ALL home
  19. Have you not enquired elsewhere yet? Or do you mean a different car altogether?
  20. Sell it, it's a lemon, get an ex mobility Renault Megane. Roomy and cheep.
