  1. They're hardly an investment
  2. Can we keep this to the running order, it's difficult enough to organise something like this without having to trawl through mass topic deviation. Start a separate thread if need be. Now that the reg debate has been clarified, please keep it to the list mudman requires. Moderation and moving/deleting/tidying will be done to keep it simple. Mudman, perhaps a link to The Wales thread in your first post would assist. **mod edit** done Please cut and paste the list as you add your name. 1. 3. So who are they then?, just trying to clear up my obvious confusion.
  4. What exactly are you sorting out? Is this not something for a club REO to organise if we are to have a club presence, or is this a joint effort with another club? they've organised the last two events at trax. #teamtarmac Who, our REO's? If that's the case then I'm pretty sure they'll have an eye on it.

  6. Love it, very cool car Mr
  7. Yeah, been in the modern world for a few months now, having just returned from a medieval world, but as GM says, the Zeppelin Air takes this new fangled YouTube you talk about to a different level I am old though and understand your amazement
  8. DO IT or... That's neither big or gay enough
  9. A new way for me at any rate, to listen to exhaust systems with great sound reproduction. Got my Mrs a Zeppelin Air for her Crimbo, and with my recent post regarding being appreciated, assisted by the man maths of savings I've accrued, (in my head), I took to browsing exhausts on Tarmacs site. Listened to them all, via my iPad and Zeppelin, and it was truly eye opening (maybe ear opening), having listened to hundreds of YouTube videos on normal PC iPad sound, this breaks new ground. The one that does it for me is the Ark-DT S system, now, I've had a drink or seven, and I'll wait until I'm completely sober, but if I were to buy a new system, this would be it. Chris, contact, contact, wait out............
  10. Marvellous looking GT car, always been one of my favourite lookers from the BMW stable, any plans to wring some serious performance from it? At that price, worth looking at for a daily.
  11. Nice car Mr . Nice train and tank.
  12. Nope, not for that type of performance. Pretty heavy as well, must've been cheep
  13. Just bought one of these, as my garage is like a grenade range, I'm hoping that this will make a marked difference. At the moment I've got plastic containers, buckets and an old pail for storage. Only the one tool chest which is overflowing to the point of not being able to close the doors properly. I'll let you know how it 'performs'
  14. My dad had a triple bypass at 61, had given up smoking in his 50s, this was in 1987. Back then it was a major procedure, he was off his feet for a few months but had a year off work. He went back to work until he retired at 65, lived life to the full until his mid 70's, unfortunately, dementia and a stroke took him down but not until just after his 81st birthday and, although he was in long term NHS care, he survived a good 20 years after his surgery. If it was me, I would go and and visit regardless of his wishes, it will still be an enormous boost for him and help in his recovery. My sister, who was the Sister on the cardio-thoracic ward where his surgery took place, advised the family at the time, that there is a large amount of depression felt by patients after this type of surgery and the importance of family that continue to be close is a fantastic help in aftercare. My advice, go and see him, for as long as you can, it will help. As with any surgery, there is a risk, the surgeon will tell you this even though it may be deemed relatively routine these days. I would not hesitate. Good luck to you and your dad, best wishes.
  15. Hmm, Uprev?, her contribution to a new exhaust...............
  16. Today I was a very busy boy. Three of my rather sketchy tradesman skills were brought to the fore. Electrical: Replaced an outside light fitting (not just a bulb but a brand new fitting, replacing a recent storm damaged one, in freezing conditions I might add) Joinery/ironmongery (?): Replaced a letterbox, the old one had a sprung spring! (Again in freezing conditions, well the outside bit) Plumbing/heating: Replaced a radiator that had too small an output from it in my daughters bedroom for one that will melt her bed. (Was inside so, warmer conditions) This was after walking the dogs, part tidying my garage, because I was looking for the tools to do the other jobs (in freezing conditions, heating in there next on the agenda, after I've finished the raised flooring in my loft to accommodate the thicker insulation, been clearing and working on that for two weeks) Counted it up: Callout charges for the three separate trades, probably @ £200 with vat etc. Labour, roughly 3hrs @ £50 + VAT = £180. So around £380 saved, plus no mark up for materials, another £30 or so. So when I asked what was for dinner.......... Can you not just get a take away, I'm going to the badminton!!! Appreciated to the max! Settled for watching the rugby and having a drink! She can order the carry out when she comes back, that'll teach her.............oh wait, I'm starving Am I alone in my desire for some appreciation?
  17. See that 15, although sounds like an exaggeration, I was actaully counting the ones I have seen and I really do think there is about 15 in about a 5ish mile radius. Mabye 14 now my Zed resides in Edinburgh now About time you organised a run out then
  18. Maybe the cars been? A bit of provenance? Regardless of where the car's been I still wouldn't have one on unless I'd actually been on it. Bit of history yes but still, ...one of my old mans old cars a TVR Cerbera had been on the Autobahn in Germany but he still wouldn't have stuck a German sticker on the boot. So if you were to buy, say, a Jackie Stewart F1 car that had his livery, or a Le Mans winner, you would strip it all off?

  20. Would a model that Nissan modified themselves count? Although I've improved their attempt, Nismo graphic kit (150 bhp added), GTR starter button (25 bhp added), Nismo oil cap (259 Nm torque gained), Z burger badges (coefficient of linear drag reduced to 0.0001) and a Stillen short shifter ( 0-62 reduced to 2.2 secs). I did have Nismo dust caps which reduced weight by 27kg, but some scrotum fiddler stole them, I could replace if it makes a difference though? My Nismo gear knob more than makes up for this (30kg weight reduction) Looking forward to be invited after I proof read my post, I'm a stick on On a lighter note, sounds like a fantastic opportunity for those invited which all sounds a bit James Bondish, being so secretive and with the rumour that Nissan are looking to enter F1, a few job opportunities. No, seriously, great day in prospect. I've booked July off in anticipation
  21. It's all I've ever replaced them with apart from once, got the full replacements from Nissan and they are expensive, the upside to that is, I then had two sets of blades and got two sets of inserts, always got a spare set to change now.
  22. There's a thread with the Nissan part numbers somewhere for replacement blade inserts, they're only £5/£6 each, if that, two minutes to change
  23. June is the rainy season, when it rains, it RAINS!! Inches in minutes, the roads get really treacherous and your car's wipers won't cope in some downpours. Then it gets back to 100 deg f in no time, dries up and you wonder what just happened. Spectacular electrical storms to go with it as well. On one flight, our jumbo had 4 attempts at landing at Orlando International, that was a bit......not nice. If you can, use Orlando International for your flights.
