  1. Even better , one of my patterdales has a bit of Staffy in her somewhere down the line and has very similar markings, her brother has a brown nose, whereas mine has a black nose. That is such a cool, nonchalant looking dog, love it!
  2. I left my replacement Nismo Knob without the shift pattern covering the Nismo logo, seems to sit better. That one is cool though, nice piece of individuality
  3. Well, amazingly, the world kept spinning on its axis after TG wasn't shown last Sunday Can't believe that this was locked, I thought it was very benign and quite humorous and all done in a gentlemanly fashion Controversial, oops!
  4. Fond memories of this insidious little car, best one was when I got rid of it.
  5. If you like chicken, you'll love the Scottish meets, otherwise, nothing here to see.
  6. My standard set up is 15mm lower than stock, around the same as TeinS I believe, no clearance issues her either, and bonus, no lip!
  7. Stuck with my Nismo for a good while, got an Ark GRiP, wow, go have a listen to Suits video, did it for me IMHO, Stillen doesn't cut it.
  8. what short shifter do you have ? ive been reading about them damaging syncro in gearbox? havent a clue how they work please explain car looks awsome btw Where have you read this? Interested, not saying it's not true. I've had one on a previous car and had no issues, non so far with the 70?!? Can't see why or how it could damage the synchro?
  9. Chris, apologies for STILL not getting a photo up. I've got these on my Nismo. Go really well with the wing indicators, same style. I'll get a pic up ASAP
  10. Still loving it mate . It's a class act, as you know . No wasn't me on the M77, was in and out of Glasgow a few times last week, once to Infiniti and then picking the Mrs up at Gartnavel via the Clyde tunnel to, erm, test the GRiP out! Love it, had a complaint from a neighbour re the noise, it was one of my daughters though, who owns the house next door Would like to compare any difference on the SS, the one you have looks like there's a bit more to it.
  11. Haha, Ian, the most tight fisted man in the world, came to Le Mans with two tins of beans and not a pot to **** in Happy days
  12. Poor is a good estimate. They have 2.6 displacement, and are taxed accordingly. If you do have a look on rx8 OC, they will swear blind that it's all a myth and that they are the best cars since sliced bread, defend them to the death. They are flawed, but are one of the few cars that can be driven, to the limit, on our roads and handle sublimely. I had one for 4 years, loved it, but it was mine from new, I would NOT buy second hand, never mind a non runner.
  13. The cops are pretty ruthless. I've been a couple of times, and on one occasion one of the chaps was done for speeding. He was frogmarched to the nearest cash line for his 600 euro fine and had his license confiscated, he was only doing 120 kph in a 90 zone, yards from the start of a 120 limit. They clock you from bridges on the motorway and pull you at the next toll, no arguing, on the spot or you're walking. So take some fine money, just in case. The main stand at the start/finish line is free, standing, and is worth getting there early for the start, not to be missed.
  14. For at least 10 secs, also avoid starting from cold and moving a few yards then switching off without using the shut down procedure. For a daily, it's expensive, cheap to buy I know, but budget, depending on commute for around 200 - 250 max out of the 60L tank. They're cheap for a reason or seven!
  15. I love this thread, educational AND costly
  16. Looking exceptional buddy , interesting what you've said re the short shifter, I've just fitted a Stillen SS, love it. I rated the SS I put on my Rex as the best mod bar none, the Stillen on my Nismo is up there. Surprised at how few go for this mod, glad I did again. That wing is erm....BIG!! Love the look though, very distinctive
  17. Sorry, missed that, find a lamp post and plagiarise the councils power.
  18. Pay a competent electrician to put a ring main in with a couple of outside, waterproof sockets, taking power from your domestic unit in the house. You won't look back
  19. Never fails to amaze and bamboozle me the plethora of combinations, be it pads and compounds when it comes to this detailing malarkey. I have the resources and time to get right into it, but I'm often left dazed and confused by the 'detail'. There should be a night class for this type of thing. I've only just discovered and become competent in the ways of snow foaming!!
  20. I had the stock Nismo, persevered with it and it did get slightly, not much, deeper. Couldn't live with it anymore, the GRiP is pretty meaty, I would go as far as to say better than the Akrapovic/Berks combo I had on my last 370. Haven't heard a Stillen system in the flesh but I know Sipar is happy with his Suits has a video somewhere, that convinced me. I nearly went for the Armytrix system, but couldn't justify the cost.
  21. Big thanks to Chris for the supply of my new Ark GRiP exhaust. All I had to do was sit back and wait for it to be delivered to Infiniti at Braehead, then have it fitted, Chris did all the donkey work. Also for supplying my Stillen short shifter, also fitted today. Excellent service, excellent comms and all at a very fair price. Thanks
