  1. I had a standard 370 with a Stillen exhaust and an uprev. Definitely didn't feel quicker than my current car. I'm not knocking your car and it doesn't really matter at the end of the day, I'm just not sure you've got your facts straight on that point. Anyway, if you're happy with it that's what matters. It's certainly a head turner Precisely! Once you take into account the extensive suspension changes, brake changes, extra torque and a few extra ponies, a wrap and a body kit in itself won't make this car faster/better. It is a smashing colour and, it bares out what I've said for ages, the Nismo kit, is the one that most will be after to modify their stock 370's. Nissan would have spent a fair amount of cash on developing this kit for performance benefit, unlike most of the other aftermarket kits, but to work with all the other modifications for maximum benefit.
  2. A lot of cars are faster than a Nismo, fact, cheers for reaffirming
  3. Colour and body kit are spot on, the wheels and tyre stretch is woeful. The standard Mk1 Nismo is 14mm lower than a stock 370, I ran eibach pro's on my last 370 (35mm drop) so concur on getting it lowered. Wonderful job overall, glad you haven't put Nismo badges everywhere, the clean look suits , plus it's not a Nismo
  4. Should've been asked and answered elsewhere though, as Ekona intimated with 'moving or splitting' thread, (Soapbox thread?) Mudman has enough to contend with, without this thread starting to be contaminated with bone questions on club insurance, rather than booking rooms. Just saying. I've not booked BTW.
  5. Just paid in the money raised on Sunday I'm sure this will be replicated by our many meets and members
  6. Today at the Nando's Scottish meet, we raised £120 for the charity of your choice Chris. Fantastic effort from 9 of us that went to the meet. Let me know what charity this is to go to and I'll make the donation
  7. Must come in useful when you pop out for a pint of milk Changed my mind, more like a Kia GT (?), the sporty hatch one
  8. Further to my last post ^^^^, if all the meets that happen, do similar, I'm sure there'll be a great response.
  9. I'll pass the hat round at the Nando's meet Chris, personally pledge whatever I spend on my meal at least
  10. The 370 is 6 years old now, so starting to look a bit dated in some areas (although there's nothing that comes close as a two door coupe, bang for buck GT, for the price) but the 350 is decidedly dated and of another age, IMO of course.
  11. Pretty sure it's quick, but reminds me of a Seat Leon.
  12. I picked up a blue 370 1:24 I think, about 150mm long in TK Max! For about £3 a few years ago. I ended up giving it to my sisters adopted boy, who was 4 at the time as he wouldn't keep his hands off of it. He's like the bad kid from Toy Story 2, so God only knows what condition its in now. Point being, these turn up in all sorts of strange places, the TK Max in question was in Chilwell, Nottingham.
  13. Don't know buddy, but if it's a 350 you've got, wrong section you're in
  14. Nice ride Mr Needs a BGW though
  15. ....but before we left, I'd smothered my Nismo in love and snow foam and Dodo Juice shampoo and Poorboys wheel wax and tyre dressing and much drying and wiping and more love, think you might have the picture! Anyhoos, went to Moffat in the Scottish Borders with my good lady as it was a beautiful day here, got parked right outside a famous sweet shop on the High St and the car was outstandingly stunning sitting there in the sun. We strolled off for a game of putting and a wander round the many touristy shops. We had decided to go back to the sweet shop and get some childhood sweetie memories as a momento of the day. Well!!!, they also have an 'Adult' section, ooh err Mrs, which has some unusual Malts and Gins on sale, so we bought a bottle of both and then topped up to £100 with sweeties (got a free bag of Moffat toffees for getting to £100, bargain ) So, as we came back outside, two young lads were arguing about what make the Nismo was, and discussing the price! I asked if they liked it and intimated that I thought it was just ok ( they didn't know it was mine at this point). "Awe mister", said one, "that's a minter, bet it cost about 70 grand". I asked them if they'd seen inside it, and if they had tried the door to have a peek inside? They were aghast at the suggestion, so I said, I'd try it. The look on their faces when I opened the door was priceless as the realisation came over them that it was my car So many, many questions ensued and they assured me that they were now saving up to get one, just like it That was a wee laugh, so me n the Mrs went off to get a fish supper and returned to some benches round the town cenotaph, which afforded me a lovely view of my car and to watch the reactions of people as they passed by it. The town was busy, but I counted 37 different people that took a photograph, and without any exaggeration, everyone on that side of the street, stopped and looked at it, young and old alike  Jings, there were people in cars stopping to have a look!! An amazing reaction to an amazing car. Best 45 minute entertainment I've had people watching for a long while. (Another amazing reaction was the number of bikers that gave the thumbs up on various parts of the route there and back  )
  16. Mystery solved, 'twas me! AMT, stopped at the roundabout to give you a wave, but you were looking to your right.
  17. Look for an HPC dealership, One in Darnley and Nobles in Edinburgh. The rest are sh1t I'm afraid, just like any other franchise selling mong mobiles.
  18. I love irony Clarkson will disappear, unless he gets TV exposure, May is a niche talent that even the bankrupt BBC3 can't afford, Hammond wasn't even good in total wipeout! Hope his cheese on toast is better
  19. All the discussion aside, TG will not be back on the BBC in any form, IMO, no other presenter/producer could replicate it. My thoughts are that it'll be reincarnated on another channel with the three present incumbents. It's gone now from terrestrial TV (other than C4 possibly), forever. Oh well, never mind, I still got paid and had fun this month, Jeremy will probably disappear from view over the next few years, along with the other two, just like so many popular TV 'personalities' over the years.
  20. As soon as there's no chicken (Nando's) involved, we should have a meet up Dave. It would be nice for a few others to come along.
  21. The biggest factor when it came to giving up on my Rex was lack of torque. After being tailgated most of the way up to the top of the Stelvio Pass by a diesel van, despite trying very hard to shake it off, was the final straw. However, I did have fun in it.
  22. My world stopped I get that for some. Hopefully you're on the mend
