Placed a deposit on one of these back in May, delivery not until 2016 though:( Going to try and keep my Nismo but I've had two firm offers from two guys who are prepared to wait, quite serious offers as well . Bought the exhaust already for the 'Stang, a FRPP Touring by Borla, just waiting on the ransom note from customs couple of other mods in the pipeline, just need to confirm what suspension comes with the PP spec. Fords marketing in Europe, UK and Australia is shocking though, I think that's down to an unexpected demand, especially in the RHD market. One good thing is my price is locked in, day before a £1k price rise as well, apparently, there's just been another rise?!?! Well thanks to StevoD for his posts way back on stirring my interest . Can't wait to get back to RX8 levels of fuel consumption

My brother in law had an Allegro, he's lucky to be alive!! Someone, somewhere must own one of these, going to look for their forum!

 That's a project, not a wish!!! No square wheels anywhere!

Even with my earning potential (and yours), I couldn't stand the running costs, that's for ZMANALEX only It's not Japanese, nor German, and it's not a Volvo It wasn't the Boxter I had my heart set on, it was the Cayman S, sadly, that's off the agenda, for now!

Just wow! The end!

No, sorry, not winding you up, just thinking practicality, and, who hasn't had an Astra 1.7 Diesel Turbo up their hoop on a motorway?? Enjoy your new ride, it's cool buddy, but I like vans, when considering costs
-
It's not a Porsche Irfan, but, and it's a HUGE clue, has a P in its culture/make up Thank you for your thoughts on my family.

Arrrrrrrrghhh my eyes!!!!!!!!!!, nurse, I've gone blind!!!!!!!!!!!

Man, this catching up is challenging! Thanks all for the good wishes, prayers are needed (and I'm not religious), but we're, as a family, content where we are for the minute. It's my countries needs that are perplexing, flipping heck, give me some notice
-
Welcome Phillipe, you know that you are now the official stopover point on the way to the Cote du Azure?
-
GM, in no way am I trying to insult you, but ionebee is right, that is one ugly little car, if it were me that was moving house and needed to downsize, I'd get a van, that would be a cooler replacement for the Z Sorry, not meaning to offend buddy, if you're happy, that's all that matters

Fook me! A Maserporsche!! Man that's a masterpiece! If only Audi thought of that..........

In time Graham, I'm a busted flush on the family front for the minute, my new wheels comes second, started physically training again a few weeks ago for my countries need, man I'm too old!! New wheels are the bomb though, car forums, they're great, missed it a lot on here, missed driving my wee Nismo for the last couple of months, (apart from DD use), getting to be in a better place family wise, but still not great, on two fronts. However, this is a great place to vent, thanks all for that.

I'm a group F team 2 fan myself, however I wish you the best of luck, to Danny ^^, Le Mans is in group G.

Nice garden Hugh, car? Missing two cylinders from the original post? It's a 911, so no more needs to be said
-
Well, not a lot forum wise! Does this/that fit, opinion of this/that, usual stuff. But lots personally! So, missed Lake Z, slipped to the wayside (apologies to Martin on that) serious, very, family illness, one that's only got one resolution, I'll say no more, welcome PMs though to discuss further. Got some sort of points warning thingy, aggressive posting apparently, that's cool, probably deserved in a wibbely wobbly way Anyway, my Nismo, up for sale soon, well I say soon, within the next nine months, still trying to figure out a way to keep it and buy my next ride (already picked and ordered), that'll be a challenge for some, but I suspect will go like the proverbial. My country is also asking me to represent it again, that's a different, if not controversial, story, but one which I'm considering and will probably act on (that's UK country, for the politically astute). Anyway, enough about me, how are you all? Living the dream I presume lol! BTW, everything needs spacers and a stubby
-
Great tip. After my visit to the builders yard tomorrow, off to halfords for the 3 for 2
-
thats great news!! we need all the fans we can get on this forum!

Needs a stubby........ Man, I wish I could have stuck with another black car, no regrets on white, it's just my OCD would get in the way again after having two on the bounce. Very, very nice

SOLDParello's Purple & Gold Bagged 370z
The G Man replied to parello9's topic in Member Build Projects
I wish I understood what is and isn't acceptable on this forum a bit better sometimes. I prefer to say nothing about build threads if I've got nothing positive to say and I can think of only one or two occasions when I've criticised someone else's car, but if I'm reading through one and I see the OP says his car looks better and is faster than a Nismo and I think I've got something relevant to say (because I've owned both variants of the car) am I allowed to say so? If people want to have a sly dig at the Nismo that's fine by me - probably to be expected for the top end variant of the car with only a few owners and looks that divide opinions - but it can't be surprising if people react to those digs can it? Or is that digs are ok but responses aren't? I have owned both variants of the 370, with Uprev, HFC's, top end exhaust, lowered, performance filters, the full nine yards, other than FI. I feel that I'm also more qualified to offer opinion when it comes to a comparison (unlike some who just offer a derogatory statement, when they've owned, briefly, a different model). The editing of the posts on this thread, do show a distinct bias toward a non Zed owning contributor, which is fine as he is obviously well thought of and makes valuable comment (that's not true obviously ). So it would seem that the 'digger' has more right than the 'digged'. Anyway, my comments to this chaps remarkable build were, totally on topic and mostly positive, were completely relative. Just saying. -
Taxi drivers don't run Mazda's, for a reason. Mostly they're uneconomical to run but, sadly, they do suffer from rust.
