  1. Last I looked, the cheapest Mk1 Nismo on Autotrader was 28k, 63 plate, so even with a sizeable negotiated discount, it'll probs be @ £26.5-£26k. That's about as much as you would pay for a pre registered/1 year old standard. Anyway, HFCs, I had slight probs with my last 70, think sipar had too, of a CEL, after several resets, I took the HFCs off. They're not needed for a louder noise on a lot of systems for the 70. Mine being an example (Ark GRiP) as for adding a few ponies, hmm, if they did, I never noticed, my jury is out on that one. £1500-2000 for an exhaust is way too much to spend, even my Akro wasn't near as expensive as that, include the HFCs and yeah maybe nudge toward £1500, but for a meaty, beaty, big and bouncy exhaust, budget @£1k-1100, much less with a custom . There might be second hand ones out there as well, taken off when owners move on.
  2. always good to have a plan . Friday night or Saturday, whatever suits buddy, I'll not be far from the door, as I say, just drop me a txt
  3. Hi and welcome The 'mud guards' offer a bit of protection for the sills, they seem to suffer a bit of road rash, as for mats, just get the stock 370 ones, as good as any aftermarket ones. I decided against rear or front sensors on my last Z because I felt that they would ruin the 'line' of the rear and they always look a bit aftermarket IMO. Don't really need them on the front, or the rear with the camera and all. Happy motoring and enjoy your Zed . Oh, you'll need a new exhaust though
  4. Apologies for not showing up on either of the nights Alex, got caught up in some bathroom decoration plus I'm cream crackered from earlies:( @Jixaman, last time I was up at Knockers and went for some pass laps with the Auld Yin, I felt as if I'd been rodgered as well nearly puked when I got out Might try for the next one
  5. Haha, no problem, seen her face light up as soon as I started it up, think she liked the sound Come up and have a look at the weekend when you're up the road, I'll be about till Sunday , just drop me txt
  6. GT 350 and 350 R aren't planned for the UK yet, but when they come they'll be in the GTR price range, so they'll need to be good! No doubt about it, they're different. On a brighter note my FRPP Touring by Borla arrived last week I'm going to probably stick with FRPP mods, although Steeda and Roush offer some excellent packages. Ford are apparently bringing out a factory tune to compliment the FRPP range. Looking at this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Raceskinz-2015-Ford-Mustang-Stripe-Kit-RS50-JARGON-TM-Edition/121529969778?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D32831%26meid%3D097b4e90ffe34e7e893bd947f229efef%26pid%3D100033%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D121529969778 for a graphics kit, love the look.
  7. Fatrab, if you want to hear a proper sounding Nismo, PM me, I'm in South Lanarkshire, I'd be happy to show you and Mrs Fatrab around mine
  8. Well, anyway, one of the first roads I'll be re exploring when I get my Mustang, hopefully bump into this guy
  9. +1, if I lived a reasonable distance to Litchfield
  10. Your right, it's only free if you use Nissan, however, I would suspect that, like WinkJ I presume, that his Nismo, the car we're talking about, was bought at a HPC, who are more experienced with the newer performance Nissan variants. That's why I would use my 'free' servicing there, rather than have a true 'free' service plan where I could use someone 'I trusted'. I used RS Tuning in Leeds a few years back for an UpRev, they were recommended and trusted by the people who recommended, they left me with the pedestrian warning light on after the tune, and didn't have the up to date tech to fix it! So much for my trust in them! I took it to someone I trusted to have it reset, Infinity at Braehead. I think it's all down to luck whoever you use, but you can slightly mitigate against bad luck by using the garage with the most up to date knowledge and equipment to deal with whatever marque you have. I bet it went ok Wink?
  11. That's a real shame, condolences Naw, hope it all pans out Remember, parole may cost you a fortune
  12. I got this as well, nothing to worry about, ^^ what he said, routine. The place I use, send you a video after the service with any other faults they find, none found in my case.
  13. Watch that Chris Harris video, that should do it for you Stu
  14. Two very different cars mate, different heritage, different ethos. As I've said, it's not a certainty that I'll sell my Nismo, it is a certainty though that I'll get a Mustang I love my Nismo, didn't know I wanted a Mustang until a few months ago
  15. Chris, the dealers know f*ck all mate, they are purely there to process the admin. I'd be surprised to see any in the UK before October, more likely end of October. I've been emailed by Ford (not the dealer) confirming my order for 2016. You might struggle to have an order accepted for Q2 2016, don't know for sure though. Evans Halshaw, Glasgow is where mine was ordered, People's in Edinburgh are the other closest Mustang 'dealer', think there maybe one in either Inverness or Aberdeen as well. A black car mate, get prepped for the OCD that comes with it . Will look 'Stangtastic though
  16. If I had waited for a test drive, I'd be looking at Q3 2020! There's plenty or reviews on it to convince me that things will pan out for me. I've read and watched just about everything I can get my hands on as well.
  17. what's up buddy? Thanks for your good wishes though I REALLY want one but told myself I would never buy a new car for depreciation reasons.... You getting one is just a poke in the eye really Bet Q3 2016 can't come soon enough!! A quick bit of man maths has shown me that with total costs, depreciation, fuel, tax, insurance, maintenance and cleaning products, my Nismo has cost me between £16-19 a day to own. I expect the Mustang to be similar. That's not a lot and is less than you can hire a car on holiday/business with the same amount of spec/power looks. Car buying is not a rational process or science, death is certain, so why not cheer yourself up on that journey Q3 will come quick enough, still having fun with my 'ricer' Yeah the wait list is quite long, there'll be limited supply for a long time, Flat Rock has huge capacity but they are struggling with the demand in the U.S., so to stop U.S. production to switch to the RHD market is not going to happen that often. Coupled with the not quite inconsiderable work that has to be done to them once they come off the boat in Europe, to meet Euro regs, they'll always be a bit of a trickle. Hopefully, but not a consideration for me, will help keep residuals strong. Yup! That's the new FULL spec GT price, mine was £1k cheaper, also I've paid the upfront £1k deposit No, I've not even seen the 2015 S550 in the flesh yet! There are a couple doing the rounds at dealers, but they're Euro spec LHD models. Dealers, whether Ford or not are essentially all the same, pants! There are loads of vids on YouTube, look for 2015 Mustang FRPP Touring by Borla, that's what mine will sound like
  18. what's up buddy? Thanks for your good wishes though
  19. Can't make Monday but Wednesday looks doable
  20. Eco boost is going to be a great car, 300 odd HP out the packet, with loads that can be done to it. Need to get my head round all the tunes available, they seem to nonchalantly put a new one on their cars in the U.S. Every other day! That Roush though......just wow! Got to love the Line Lock can see that being a big hit with the neighbours
