  1. Try the three point principle, with adjustable legs at where the legs join the wood. It'll always be level, the taller the speaker, the more accentuated the lean, especially sitting them on carpet. I guess the spikes are adjustable though. Three legs will look better than four IMO, think milking stool.
  2. Update: The Ark is now sold, as is the Stillen Short shifter and Nismo Knob. I've put the Burger badges back on but as yet, I've not sold the textured badges. The car is still for sale at a reduced price obviously, I'll update the first post.
  3. Put anything you want on your car, it's your car . Until someone else is paying the bills for it, it's all your own decision. In saying that, it's a bit wannabe
  4. I like Irn Bru, I like my English friends, I like my Sikh friends, my Welsh friends, my Irish friends, my French friends, my Jordanian friends, any friends of any nationality, race, religion really. I disliked the Romanian that was on TV the other week that sent his 'hard earned Child allowance', back to Romania, he wasn't working BTW, that's not to say, if I had Romanian friends, I would definitely like them. Vary, you're over sensitive IMO.
  5. You can't catch someone who's blown themselves up Trident should stop them
  6. Thursday night bump, I'm away for the weekend, so for those that are dithering
  7. The RS is a fantastic prospect, but I'd rather save the hatchback as the running to the shops, taking the dogs out etc. I'll be in the market for one soon, it'll not be a performance/hot hatch category, but with decent motorway and urban manners. Probably be from the massive Volkswagenseataudiskoda stable, just something I don't need to pay particular attention to. Our present Leon has done us well in this respect. The Mustang, will be used for a feeling of occasion, well, in and out of work at any rate . With lots of road trips to the continent.
  8. And there in lies the problem, no one is rubbishing your choice, no one has said its sh*t or anything like that, just its not for them and highlighted reasons they wouldnt buy it "in their opinion", just seems you wont accept an alternate view, as per your debate last night with bodyboarder. Chris Evans enormous knowledge and running knowledge on cars, give me a break, i bet he wouldnt have half the knowledge as some on here about chassis dynamics and the inner workings of a combustion engine let alone do the builds some have completed. Its a good choice, just not for everyone, i am sure you will enjoy it.
  9. It is a discussion thread, the journos are adding to the discussion, what's not to get on that. Better that than just rubbishing someone else's choice of cash spending on a car. Something that I haven't done on this or any thread. I find it interesting what these people write, all the better if it supports my opinion, if there are links that slate this particular car, I've not seen them, but it would add to the debate. If what Chris Evans has to say about a car is not interesting, given his enormous knowledge and obvious passion for cars, then no one has anything interesting to say, especially us lot, with our basic car owning and running knowledge.
  10. Baring in mind it was an auto on test. Never going to compete with ze Germans on auto boxes. Interesting the comments made by Chris Evans regards his opinion on the GTR price .
  11. Apparently Chris Evans likes the Mustang http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/event/article-3485684/Chris-Evans-reviews-Ford-Mustang-5-0-V8-GT-Wild-horses-couldn-t-drag-away-waiting-list-just-might.html

  15. ........and, still no one cares
  16. I'm relaxed mate, I love all the angst on my purchases, makes me . I like trucks as well, particularly the Ginaf, 6x6, based on an Daf, but with special running gear and an offset driveshaft, designed specifically for the geotechnical world of cone testing. A one off, if ever I saw one I love all cars, in fact anything with wheels
  17. I used to love 370z Nismo MK1, but I moved on, now I love the Stang So did I! Still love my Nismo . You still buying dodgy stuff from China? We are all really laughing . . really laughing at G Man Magic, love it . How's the truck?
  18. I'm really mate, I love it
  19. I used to love 370z Nismo MK1, but I moved on, now I love the Stang So did I! Still love my Nismo . You still buying dodgy stuff from China?
  20. No one cares Well you obviously do judging by the tone of most of your responses to anyone who posts says they don't like the Mustang I don't care what you think or post, drive your truck, be happy .
  21. My Truck was less than 35k (if you do the conversion) and its got a 5.7 Hemi V8 . . Brrrrmmmmmmmmmmm The interior is also a darn sight nicer than the mustang . . or fords in general. We did the rounds when buying Bob . . yes I sat in the Mustang. The fords so stick out as having "much plastic" everywhere. Who cares? Beep beep!
  22. That's true bro' Well, I don't know if I like it, I'm beginning to get second thoughts, what if it's frightful? How will I ever live with myself? I'll need to get the thoughts and mind salve of my daughter and her partner (both mental health professionals), hoping I'm going to be ok!?! Oh well, WTF, you're dead a long time
  23. Second hand cars are full of other people's faecal matter and nose droppings Yes I must have new, do you want to buy my iPhone 4? Or are you a new phone type guy
  24. Mate, not in the business to convince you or others, it's a great buy, who doesn't like that Also, it's the quality under the hood (yes I am American ), did the quality of that escape you?
