  1. Just flabbergasted, from a classic Camaro to a GT86 Oh well, if it makes sense to you, that's all that matters I suppose.
  2. No matter your politics, no matter your creed, no matter what you think is wrong with society; We will never, ever be defeated by acts of cowardly, criminal acts. We will prevail, we will stand up to any attack on our soil against our democracy. We will never, ever be intimidated by a low life criminal who, misguidedly, thought that he would make a difference, he will not turn me against my Muslim, Christian or Jewish democratic friends, he will not make me hate anyone, he will not encourage me to take revenge. I will still endeavour to make this country great, I will endeavour to make it the haven of peace that it is, I will endeavour to defend the very cornerstone of the mother of all democracies. ISIS, you can go to hell, petty criminals, that you prey on, will never, ever defeat me, or my fellow citizens, to create chaos or discord. As in the past, I will fight with the last breath in my body to keep us great, I will fight for the democratic right of self determination, I will fight for every one off you to be the free people that you are. God bless you all.
  3. The single most abhorrent EV, I've ever seen. As has been said, get beyond Buck Rogers and make them look 'normal', then the real main stream will take off.
  4. In the Himalayas a few years back, a colleague got altitude sickness. We were in the enviable position that we could call on a medievac by helicopter, the downside was that the helicopter had to go up, to get down, the said colleague died, it was damned if you did, damned if you didn't. Not a good end. In saying all that, the challenge, is where it's at, Kilimanjaro, if Cheryl Cole (or whatever her name is these days) can do it, it's not really a 'climb', but challenging nonetheless. Save your money and go on the Lions tour in 2022 to South Africa (my retirement present), that will truly be challenging
  5. Go on, have a big jobby, I hope you'll be fixed when the 'event' finally happens. Otherwise, you'll just get fat like me
  6. I had this system, eventually paired it with a set of Berk HFC's. There is a weak point on them, the frame that attaches from the exhaust, to the rubber mounts, two of mine cracked. I repaired them and made them stronger, due to this and the fact I was trading in my 370GT, I sold the system, Akrapovic Evolution with Carbon Ceramic Tails, for a fair bit less. My opinion is that it's a cracking system paired with HFC's, on its own, meh.... However, 18k+Miles, my opininion is, it's a tad overpriced. However, if you get the money asked, all good Oh I paid €1900 for it from Germany, delivered, new.

    My 911

    Beautiful buddy, love it
  9. Oh Dan, this is truly jobby mate, hope you get well soon, just hope the MRSA, if you need an op, doesn't afflict you. If you have private insurance, you can still transfer buddy, just show them your policy, it'll be a lot less pain, unless you're in Scotland. Only kidding, but do watch out for the necrotising fasciitis. Get well soon, hate seeing anyone in pain, except pedo's
  10. Hugh, that's a funeral limo mate. Don't miss it, be glad, you have a nice car now (albeit not a V8. )
  11. To the op, get a modern Mustang, warranty (3 years/60,000miles), highly modable, cheap to service, it'll drop less in depreciation (though this is unimportant, as it's a car, not an investment), than a new Porsche, GTR or F Type (new cost minus depreciation after 3 years), bags of fun, a TRUE GT, 4 usable seats. And, no matter what anyone alludes to, it's built in Flat Rock Michigan, the home of the Mustang and a true Mustang. I know, the perception is I'm biased, however, all of the above is true and fact. For around £800- 1000, you can go from 416ish to 500bhp+ with proportional rise in torque, I reckon it's about £5-7k for a 350/370 with forced induction Don't believe me?, ask any owner If you are leaning toward a Porsche, they are quite common, I understand the engineering and research that's gone before, however, most of this is due to the engine being over the rear wheels. Their quality is second to none, in terms of build/materials, but at twice the cost, more expensive to service ( my first service which included a diff and gear oil change was £160 odd) and probably ten times as common on the road, your exclusivity is guaranteed. I was in London twice over the last 2-3weeks (family bereavement), 2 x 800mile round trips, lots of travel in and out to Charing X hospital from Hanwell, I even seen a 370 Nismo!, I never saw a Mustang, despite the ramblings of some on here that see them all the time! Saw a gazillion Porsches, 3 or 4 GTR's, quite a few Maserati's, but not one Mustang. Honestly, you'll be doing yourself a disservice, by not investigating the prospect. I know you had one in the states (think that was you?), that was a (discontinued), V6, hire car that was base. Anyway, if you want a classic, a '69 Mach1 is the only one you want

  13. To the OP, pasted this from another site, you'll see quite a few Mustangs, probably with a few for sale, anyway if you want to talk Mustang, old or new, these are the people to talk to "From MOCGB site...................... ANNUAL MUSTANG SHOW - Sunday 20th August 2017 Location – Rockingham Castle, nr Corby http://www.rockinghamcastle.com This is the national show organised by the Mustang Owners Club GB. • All Mustangs welcome • No need to pre-book • Admission to show field and castle grounds £10/car • Show field open 10.30 – 16.00 • Arrive and leave when you like • Dogs welcome • Special castle tour price of £5 per person for Mustang occupants"
  14. Frog eyed sprite , not pretty and not priced, styled or desirable IMO.
  15. I knew I should've kept mine, didn't even have to sell it (well apart from not having the space on my drive, suppose Nobles would've stored it though)
  16. I just want to keep that rarity, I've no axe to grind, unlike many others But yes, I agree, irony, it's a magical thing Edit: just like you, I like to keep the uninformed, informed, everyday' s a school day
  17. You missed poor in crash tests , but they are cheap (worth repeating ) Yeah, really poor, only for the hard of reading though , stay away from them they'll kill you, must be something woefully wrong, you can't produce a V8 for their price, again, stay away, they're cheap and nasty
  18. So how much are you looking to spend? You can get a pre-facelift 4.2L X150 for less than a 370z... XK £10k+ XKR £15k+ I'm looking to buy almost new, maybe ex-demo. Don't really want to spend more than Z money. RX-9 would be sweeet but Mr Mazda says "no way". One thing about the Mustang... this thing is even rarer than the Z. You see more Lambos. Is there something we should be told? Yeah, they're sh1t, stay away. You'll hate it, it's awful, so plasticky, poor build, not powerful, can't handle, it's slow and cheap (or so I've heard)
  19. Was the chump not liable? Looks fine BTW, I wouldn't have known!
  20. I've got the stock P Zeros on my car at the mo, ok warm and dry, downright dangerous cold and wet I'll be changing to MPSS very soon!
