......also, in 2016 on our way to Lake Garda, I didn’t have my sat nav set up properly (was a new car then), couldn’t find Bastogne, got horribly lost in Gent and then, an overnight in Luxembourg, couldn’t get out the damn place Anyway, have a great time and enjoy your trip

My last euro trip was organised for the 6 Hours of Spa in 2020 , that didn’t go well........ Went to Le Mans in 2019 a friend in another car that was with us had a catastrophic failure of his oil cooler, cost an initial fortune (€2000 IIRC) to be recovered off the French toll motorway, then the breakdown cover got it recovered to the UK and his local garage.... He was eventually reimbursed by them
-
Seems you’re right re green card
-
The green card is issued by your insurance, I’m not aware of that being ‘sorted’, but not all insurance covers driving in Europe and if you are, I believe you still need to make them aware. Good breakdown cover essential though
-
.....oh and take photographs of all documentation before you set off....
-
Boring stuff but...... 1. Make sure your insurance is aware, also you need a green card, from your insurance to state you are fully comprehensive insured. 2. Take out adequate breakdown cover, green flag offer a great package for driving in Europe that covers FULL recovery of your vehicle, back to the UK, amongst other benefits. 3. Copies of the V5 and, well anything to do with insurance. 4. Travel and health insurance It can get quite expensive, very quickly without adequate cover, for both you and your car.

Yeah buddy, on the Sunday, I would’ve saw your Stang, we looked at every car. Three of us arrived in Knutsford Saturday lunchtime, had a the day in town then spent most of Sunday at the show before heading home via the Lake District (for some fun driving ). Our Stangs were in the car park, spoke to loads of Stang owners too!

All of them were lovely examples with a few for sale

The suspension and track of the Nismo is completely different to the GT. That said, it’s not mindblowingly different to the GT. I test drove the auto before buying my manual GT, it was alright but will be down on fuel consumption a bit I’d imagine, not that anyone can afford petrol atm ha! Can’t remember but is the tank @72 litres?, I know it’s bigger than most normal cars. I never ran out of fuel on any of my 370’s. They still look great cars, again not a traffic light bruiser, most hot hatches are quicker off the mark, it’s a GT but the road noise is terrible on a long journey, lack of insulation and deadening probs the main factor. I wish I’d kept my 2013 Nismo

No mate, no magnaride, my Muzzer is from a long, long time ago and a galaxy far, far away I’m not a fan of Steeda, well Steeda UK, they’re overpriced and overrated, with a lot of fitment issues IMO, but may work with Magnaride The Ford Kit, fits first time, made by Ford for a Ford Contact Benny @ Levittown Ford for a great price
-
I’ve had the FRPP Track Handling Pack on my old Muzzer since almost brand new, remarkable difference for a road set up. The kit comes with uprated sway bars and produced a totally flat cornering ability. The ride is slightly compromised though, especially on the ‘dirt track’ system of roads in the uk, a bit harsher. My only bit of suspension failure so far, 6 years in was a control arm replacement two years ago. Because it comes in FR Blue, I’m often asked by service techs if the car was a special US order , of course I say it was! Sailed through its MOT, emission checks etc even with a 3” engine back with ‘sports’ cats, active exhaust and headers all good. fantastic looking Mustang, £65k in the uk!

While aimlessly looking on auto trader, I put in 2013 Nissan 370Z Nismo white, two came up, and lo and behold my old Nismo was one of them! I contacted the dealer this morning and there’s a deposit been put on it, hopefully the new owner didn’t pay the full asking price (£22k). It’s only had two owners since me so I’m assuming that it’s been well looked after. Ach well, the new owner might pop up here and I might have the chance to buy it off them in a few years Bon chance to the new owner
