  1. +1 on that one^^. Although it can be a bit fiddly reversing the drive lug, also there is a bit of slack when reversing the torque settings
  2. Apparantly, it's next to the thing that cools the beers
  3. Oh how very dare you , I'll let you know, I found the washing machine on my own
  4. Cardiff Bay Hotel, top notch with on site parking
  5. Always, always ignore the other half Never ever let them influence your decision to to park next to a nice car, after all we know that 350/370/gtr owners are going to be considerate when returning to their parked car, especially in supermarkets Ewan, stick up for youself man! Ok got to go, my other half wants me to empty the washing machine
  6. If I can put my tuppence worth in here, coming from a RX8 to the 370, I know what "mixing" the gearbox is all about to get in a "good overtaking" position, but the 370 is in a different class, effortlessly accelerates in 2nd, 3rd and well 4th just blows most of the motorway opposition away. The car is noisy in a "raw" type fashion, the 8 was super smooth on the "loud" peddle, but I put this down to a mixture of 6 cylinders and a huge amount of rubber on the tarmac for the 370 and being able to continue to 9.5k RPM before up change on the 8. I've had nothing but admiring looks and comments from workmates and friends alike, a friend who was over at the ring recently told me of Nissan having a promo day, the GTR's were getting a lot of "child" like attention from the wannabe's, but he said, the real star of the show was the 370, so the reviewer is talking out his ar5e here. The suspension on stock, IMO, is not impressive, could/should be a lot lower and I don't find it stiff at all, more aimed at Merkins, a bit wallowy, but then again I have been used to a lowered set up on what was essentialy a go-kart, a very good go-kart though. My first serious mod will be to address this issue. As for comparing what is around for the same price, believe me, I looked at all the opposition, couldn't afford the options list on the Audi or the Cayman, before you know where you are, both these are closer to 40k for the same spec. For the thrill factor, I believe that you would have to move onto M3 territory, a new M3 that is and if I had the dosh for one of them then I would have plumped for a GTR. The 370, IMHO, is miles in front of the opposition and with a few carefully applied mods, would take it into another dimension.
  7. Hi and welcome, oh and no one lives near Applecross Only kidding Hope you had a good day at Knockhill, you probably met Vik54 as well (I think she lives there ) This meet, viewtopic.php?f=84&t=42322, may be a bit far for you but your more than welcome to join in, even if it's only for a coffee at Calvine Kishorn eh?, I know the fishbar well
  8. Cheers for the link, not too difficult then
  9. Was thinking of changeing mine as well, been lazy and not looked at the set up yet, is itan easy replacement or do you need fingers like knitting needles and have to remove half the engine?
  10. Does this mean I have to log a post count of 370 to get a sticker?

  13. Will he still be allowed to come oop north? Glasgow will miss you Al if not! Congrats at the new job
  14. Room booked Although some bampot has already snaffled the Gandy and four posters
  15. and +1 ^^, not long had my 370 and I swore I wouldn't get a black car again
  16. Heartfelt sympathy to both families. Words fail most people at times like this, tragic loss of two young lives.
  17. That was taken on the Bull Run course, only spent a night there and to be honest, I wouldn't bother going back, nice enough place but a bit touristy. Miss my Rex, too many good times touring Europe/24hr Le Mans and track days, the 370 has a lot to live up to Wish I had digital photo's of my first "proper" sports car, Opel Manta GTE
  18. haven't got any on PC of my older cars but here's a couple of my last one
  19. I only suspected it had this feature must RTFM
  20. Nice match Only comment I would say is they don't look as deep a "pile" as the OEM ones and no 370z logo, but I agrre with above, a bit naughty not to include them on a 32k car
  21. 370 is the same, I would be surprised if this could be overridden, Nissan's liability disclaimer, more apt for the Merkins me thinks
  22. Put my first mod on her, erm....................dustcaps I used to do the "see no evil" bit with the Rex, Mrs just gave up in the end Well when 4 boxes of Racing Brake kit and a mahoosive Borla amongst an avalanch of other things come through the post and I always tried to gauge delivery to happen when she wasn't in Then it was the game of "when will she notice" Cheers for the spot Stephen, was working yesterday and today for that matter , still got about 150 miles or so to fully run in, although the right foot has been giving her a little stretch more recently Power is amazing and very intoxicating
  23. Just got one request, if possible, could it be steered clear of the Le Mans weekend, which is 11th/12th June.
