Quick update, this is from the guy organising the event, The Mazda hospitality suite is coming and they are bringing a wrapped MX5 for the kids to draw on and there will be £200 worth of Toys R Us vouchers to be won. Also in attendance will be some Audi static and demonstrator models including a RS5, R8 Spyder, A7, A8, Q7, A1, TT and a brand new A6. Some of the entrants so far include Mazda RX8, MX5, 3MPS Nissan 350z 370z GTR, Ford Focus ST, Westfield, Caterham, Viper, VW Golf R32, Porche 911 GT3, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren SLR and the time attack guys invited by PZ Scott. Currently, confirmed bookings are at 40, we are aiming to have 60 and a maximum of 80. This has aleady happened in the RX8 world, as demographics change and older more cheaply available sports cars get to within the budget of those we may consider chavs, it's an inevitable outcome.

This is an interesting thread, my youngest just passed her test last week (19yr old) and we were scouring insurers for quotes, Admiral were by far the best quote, this was to insure her on wifeys FR, it then got remarkably cheaper for a multi car policy, the FR, Mini Cooper S, 370 was less than we're all paying collectively at the moment without my youngest on any of the insurances! She's doing her Pass Plus next week and then we're going to take advantage of the offer. As someone said earlier, they charge around 1,000,000,000% for monthly payments but if you can afford it, and pay it in a oner, then it's a great deal

A young lad that lives across the street (10) was so excited when I got the 370 he ran over and started to drool over the car (previously he had not been known to drool since he was 3 ), anyways he was banging on about how his car on NFS/GT5 (I dunno some computer game) was now a 370 and it was his all time favourite He used to have a 350 but that was too slow he said , so I says to him, if you draw me your best picture of a 370 then I'll take you out for a blast in my real one . Next day he was over, when I was at work, and presents my Mrs with his drawing (I'll post a pic of it, it's actually taped to the screen of an old standalone in my study as a screensaver ). Haven't had the chance to take him out for a spin yet, what with the winter we've been having and now the roads all fooked up with the rain, so I thought that I should give him the calendar for his wall He's now like a dog with two wag ropes He'll probably join the club as well No reflection on the calendar, it's top notch, I got the same as Sam Mcgoo from my mrs So I thought a fitting and proud place for it to go would be to the young lad
