After years of stickering up my old RX-8 for Le Mans and various tours of Europe, I swore that I wouldn't put another sticker on any car I subsequently owned , but I lied Not many on the 370, granted, but pleased with the result for the upcoming RAF Valley track day Hope you like

The 350z-UK Silicone Wristband * Design Update *
The G Man replied to Beavis's topic in Announcements
Love it Beavis, well done -
so we're meant to fill the huge black hole debt with wishful thinking and fluffy bunnies. agreed i don't like paying through the nose for everything, but i understand why its happening, so we put up with a couple of years of hardship and then hopefully back to some kind of normality in the near future. Well we could start by getting companies like Barclays and Vodaphone to pay their proper taxes, but it's naive to think or suggest that this is for a few years, it's for your lifetime and your childrens lifetime, in fact it's forever! When we all realise that funding the political elite and big business lavish lifestyles is non substainable, we might actually get somewhere. Are you suggesting that there is no other means to "fill the blackhole" other than to flame motorists? Are we as a society that devoid of ideas? If what you suggest is a cure "for the next couple of years", I'm afraid we're fooked

Sleight of hand and mirrors, there is no cut, fuel will keep rising and the thieves in charge of us will continue to steal your money by stealth or outright blatant extortion. Sad but true.

Depends on usage the frequency of a fill up, but it always gets brimmed, like geof-r, I have a poor mans Audi (Leon FR) sootmobile for the mundane side of life. Probably a tank and a half per month on average. Summer will see a lot more being used

RAF Valley Track day and visit 8th and 9th April
The G Man replied to The G Man's topic in Motorsport & Track Days
Whats the visit about then on the Friday? I didn't have any info on this just the drivers day on Sat? Might not be able to make Friday but would be cool to know whats going on? Cheers. If you haven't heard anything about this, then I'll need your details to pass on to the visit organiser. Unfortunately, the two days are being run by different people and essentially are different activities, the track day I'm assuming, you've had the e mails from Andy at RAF Valley with requests for car/driver/passanger details etc and you've paid. Please e mail him re the Saturday trackday activities if not, email in my sig. The visit on the Friday, if you're going, PM me and I'll pass on your details. The visit is a tour of RAF Valleys operational capability on the Air Sea Rescue side of things. All are welcome, but as this is an operational base, security is tight and passes are being organised for both days, hopefully to save time. Give me a shout if you've any concerns, I'm on here most days. -
What an epic job I'm surprised you had time to take the pics, might look at getting one of these DA's, does it just"float" under it's own weight or is there a pressure applied? BTW, love the Porsche

Some fair points here, the accident figures above make sobering reading. Though they are accidents and apart from the calous minority, no one sets out to cause carnage or break the law. I was, quite rightly, prosecuted for speeding on a motorway back in 1996, 99.36mph, it was on a Sunday, weather was dry and sunny, traffic was very light. I was fined £600 and had 3points awarded. I was guilty and had no defence. Two weeks later, a police car in Aberdeen, mounted a pavement, while doing excessive speed on a non emergency call, two's and blues blazing, and KILLED two pensioners. The policeman responsible was FINED £300 and had 6 points awarded to him. He kept his job. My point is that, while there is a need for policing the roads with regards speeding etc., it should be carried out in a fair manner. I'll leave it for you to decide if the policeman and myself were treated fairly.

All will be revealed on the day, or maybe the day before And it's 3 seperate things, all for your Z, no more clues

Domed is not the issue at MOT, it's the BS147d(might be 145), that ensures they are made to UK standard required for a MOT pass.

Haha do tell!! Have you been gettin emails from Andy? Are we still good for the rx8 owners meet on Friday? Ah I see!! tell her next time I want some free burgers it was just a quick snack before dinner lol. Was just about to ask you the same regards Andy's emails, yeah I got them mate and we're good to go on the Friday, just a bit of a pain the early start As far as free burgers go, even I can't get one I'm banned from going there anyway, coz I'm a "dad" and apparantly, they are the uncoolest animal in the world She doesn't mind a lift in the Z though , but now she drives, I suppose I'm even more banned Just realised that this is the meet point for the Spring meet Oh I hope she's working that day
-
Just keep a legal set for MOT time/getting pulled etc, although you can make up a nice set that are legal, I used http://www.demonplates.com/?gclid=CLKLw ... 4Qodij5x9g, kept them legal and individual
-
Nah mate no red Corsa She probably served you She's been working there a while (it's a job at least ), she's a bit of a petrolhead herself and having only just passed her driving test, she's currently hooning around in my Mrs FR I know what you mean re greasy roads , this has got to be the longest, shitiest winter for a long time I'm backshift all week, off Sunday and if it's decent, I'll need to give the Z a good old detail, you're welcome to drop by anytime mate , oh and I've got a wee pressy for ya for the Valley weekend All will be revealed soon

This sounds like a blast I would love to do it in me Z and it should cope The only worry I would have is suspension damage or punctures, so may be prudent to carry a spare wheel or spacesaver and maybe some spare droplinks Good luck and keep us informed of your progress Definately pack a spare pair of undercrackers
