  1. Supercharged V8 Range Rover Vogue is what you want. All the toys and comfort with the sound of the v8 to keep you happy Alternatively I'm selling my 1986 v8 Defender! Only 120ish thousand miles, 11 careful owners, few minor dents and scratches, 8mpg (motorway), 3" lift kit and full body roll cage. Extremely practical!
  2. Do you know if there's an oil temp sensor as standard and if so is there details to manually calibrate a guage for it? Also can the BHP output be configured for the zed? I use this app everytime I'm on long drives, it's nice to have the air intake temp but I'd also like the oil temp! Does anyone else find you have too much info on screen also, I've a 5" screen smartphone and struggle to read the guages unless they're in large limiting me to 6 on the screen. Although I could just be blind! However this app/reader has helped friends diagnose problems with their cars. Really handy piece of kit!
  3. Whenever I hit about 60mph I can hear the wind rushing in through the drivers window. If I press the shut window button, the window goes up about a millimetre and this stops the noise for about 5 seconds and then it starts again. If I go back down below this speed the noise stops too. Most of the time this isn't an issue as I have music up high but it is annoying. A mate suggested it was because there was no pillars on the window top allows the wind to get in by and force it open? Anyone else experience this?
  4. That looks absolutely amazing. Bet you're one happy chap!
  5. I leave mine for 4-6 weeks at a time and she starts up fine each time (athough now i've said that it won't start next time i try...) see if the battery will take a charge else you might need to pop in a new one!
  6. Mine is lowered and the arms on a normal lift wouldn't pass the sideskirts. All the mechanic did was jack it up a bit using a trolley jack and that allowed him to get the arms under, repeat for other side and voila. Planks are easier though.
  7. I'm running ps2s now and the difference is noticable from the bridgestone 40's. Can't comment about other tyres however.

    Bumper Tuck

Been wanting to do this since i got the exhaust fitted so finally got round to doing it. Was actually having a look at the drop links to put some spray grease on to see if they'd stop clicking for a while and ended up doing the bumper tuck as it seemed fairly simple. The rear bumper's not been attached at the bottom since i got it, so decided that it was time to stop it from flexing so much and fix it also. Once i was under i found i could gain access to the old white mounts fairly easily with a long screwdriver, however one of the screws was rusted and rounded off, so i ended up snapping it out with a bit of brute force and a large pair of pliers. Once the white mounts were removed and using some amazing gymnastic contortionisms i managed to secure the bumper up and out of the way. I then proceeded to fix the bottom half, sadly one of the bolts was snapped into the mount and i didn't have a removal tool on me so i've cable tied it for the time being. There's a slight buldge in the middle but i can live with that till i figure out how to straighten it! All in all a productive afternoon. Top tip of the day: If a mate asks to have a sit in the driver's seat whilst you're under the car kindly refuse him this request until you have safely removed yourself from underneathe. Especially if he's a large lad.
  9. I'd say Nismo too, after being complimented by a few drivers yesterday on the note
  10. Looking good! Hope it's superglued on!
  11. I wanna see the 350 one (370 now i guess!)
  12. Spec as follows - Workmeister S1 3pc. Front - 18 x 9.5" +24 Rear - 18 x 11" +22

  14. haha sorry, stole a generic image from another post on the forum! and i realise it's front. but figured it'd be the similar component connecting all the bits... so is it the blue bit?! edit: having had a look i can see it's now totally different ala, silvery bit at the end it i'm assuming?

    Adjusting Camber??

Just been to Clarks Motorsport, had the 4 wheel alignment done, was out by a bit so got that corrected and they also sorted the rear camber out as much as could be done. Car's feeling better now so really glad i got it done. Cheers for recommending them, they say hello by the way Alex!
  17. I have this exact same issue, i thought it was the clicky axle problem but reading through this i think it might be the arb drop links now... can't really hear it with windows up but windows down quite noticable. i'm assuming it's the blue bit next to the wheel?
  18. For the uneven dash, just give it a little thump. If the dash has been taken out at any point it may just not have been re-seated properly. As for the tailgate i have to lift mine, although removal of the weight has helped.
  19. Sorted! Seems i'd nicked a wire when i was putting the cassette unit back in, power to one of the motors. Re-soldered it, put unit back in and worked first time Also fixed the cut steering wheel control wires that had been cut so car is now 100% ICE enabled once more Thanks again for the guides!
  20. Pullback Silver is a Kinsmart, 1/34. Blue is a Newray 1/32 and the GT-R is a Jada (jadatoys.com) 1/32. never heard of any of these companies it has to be said!
  21. I have a few wee models, i like to have models of my cars too. Have far too many wee Landrovers dotted about the house. Here's my Datsun collection. The silver although not too accurate dimension wise has the pull back motor in it so it scoots along the floor.
  22. I was only stopping by quickly, too many trees for me to park there regularly! Spotted a fair few Z's yesterday on a wee drive out to Oldmeldrum including an amazing looking White 370 reg V6 *** followed it for a while before they turned off, looking good!
  23. Just finished this, popped it back in. Stereo's still working thankfully but when i press Tape it just flashes "Press Eject" when i press eject the unit powers off. Any ideas?
