  1. More than likely the wrong oil in the gearbox if it's been changed. Oil viscosity when cold would have this affect.
  2. Just mark the position of the nuts with a sharpie before loosening off. count the number of turns and return to the same spot. DONE
  3. The oversteer & opposite lock at 2.49 was impressive. A great bit of driving.
  4. I was told yesterday only 60 have been put up for sale about the country and all were sold with in 60 minutes.
  5. A Slight run out on the discs probably. How old and what condition are the discs in?
  6. Colour scheme is but not a fan of the slammed look of the wheels. Each to their own though.
  7. Cant tell any difference to be honest. There was some minor changes needed to the rear off side but that was all. That said I would highly recommend this process if anyone has new tyres fitted and there is signs of uneven wear on the old ones.

  9. Mine too. No issues what so ever. That said is should do having clocked up the extortionate amount of 1200 miles in the last 12 months
  10. Just changed mine @ 42k it was a good decision. Although it drove perfectly well the clutch and flywheel were shot. It all depends on how the previous owners have driven it. But the car is made for some fierce driving so no problems with regard reliability.

  12. Sounds perfectly OK to me. Bearing in mind how worn the old clutch was when it was removed? and what year your Z is?. I would think that this is the whole purpose of a hydraulic system. It automatically takes up wear of the clutch and flywheel. As they wear the slack is taken up by the system and the pedal raises. Provided there are no obvious noises such as thrust bearing not fully disengaging then i would say that all is well. When i changed mine the other week (04 Model) the biting point now is pretty much a couple of inches off the floor. Over time i would expect this to change slowly as time passes.

Fitting De-Cats would not invalidate your policy of insurance but it could leave you in a civil battle with the insurance company should they decide not to pay out following a claim because of the undeclared mod. There are far too many thing which technically make your car non legal on the road such as front window tints, incorrectly spaced digits on number plates etc which do not invalidate your insurance. Declare all mods.

  16. Reply. Thanks for the quick reply. I was lead to believe that the base model was only capable of about 300 even with all you mentioned mods. Do you have print outs of the claimed bhp?
  17. This is the response to my bhp gains. Hi mate! The base model was the 280 then the gt uprev was 300 which is what mine is and then I decatted it and y pipe and a skunk2 manifold and jwt induction both from America! Remind me again what car got again I'm sending so many lol. Ohh and they did a 313bhp 350z which are the really new ones

  19. It looks like Some sort of Garmin. Possibly the Garmin 2598 LMT-D http://www.johnlewis...d=c&tmcampid=73 It has the Lifetime maps, bluetooth, 5" etc just what i require also if i can plan routes via dripping in coordinates then that's just great. Thanks all for your advise.
  20. My head is well and truly fried. I'm off to France in June and am in need of a new Satnav £200 range. I don't usually use any sort of Satnav so not really up to speed with what's out there. I have checked out the Tomtom and Garmin sites but as usual each have conflicting reviews. It must be 5" wide and Bluetooth any ideas? anyone out there recommend one?
