  1. The aim is to ascertain what the max pressure is to both, lift the boot lid, without it falling down under it's own weight having fitted an after market spoiler. I have had mine recently regassed to 500 Nm's which is ok for the lifting but is so strong that it is distorting the roof line when closed. The struts can not be de-gassed. so the intention was to do some trials with differnt weights attached to the boot and increase the gas pressure as we go until the optinum pressure is found.
  2. Im after a pair of old or under gassed boot struts to use as Guinea pigs to find exactly what the max pressure is before it distorts the boot lid from the roof line.

  7. Whilst out on sturday, it was noted a slight oil slick on the wet floor. The offending part was the small rubber pipe conected to the power steering cooling radiator. The little devil was nothing but a couple of inches away but like Bxxxxy hell could i get at it. The only way to get at the little devil was, yes you guest it, off with the bumper some 3 hours later the leak fix and bumper replaced. A big thanks to Chesterfield for posting the bumper removal guide, Great help. If anyone knows of an easier way of dealing with this problem it would be another good guide.
