  1. I have used Exhausts Uk for all of my previous cars and when the time is right i will use them again for the Z. I have nothing but praise for this company they are real petrol heads and the parts are as good as you can get anywhere and the after sales service is second to none highly recommended
  2. :scare: Sorry Why not just do an HPI check on the RAC site. I'm nt sure of what information it will throw up but may be well worth a shot.
  3. This doesnt sound right at all. even with the installation of new parts. there shouldn't be anything really noticable. Take it back now dont wait. Post a video of the noise and you may get a definitive answer.
  4. The moment i realised that my tallent had ran out on the EVO loop all repaired
  5. Rules are rules. Words can be made up. Suck it up. +1

  9. Ive given up trying to pre load my sat nav with the route for Sat (Navman 90i Deluxe). Just hoping Linda brushes up with her map reading just in case. If anyone has any ideas how to pre set such a thing i'd be very greatful. See you all on the weekend.
  10. I can see some real inconvenience coming this lads way. TOOL!!
  11. I haven't clayed the Z for some time now as it doesn't need it. I have recently taken ownership of a secondhand car which needed a good fettle. knowing how much contaminants were present i used Iron-X after washing. The results were extremely good albeit the car went a shade of pink during the process. The Iron-x removed about 80% of the contaminants which just left a light clay application needed. The knack is ti use plenty of lubricant, like previous comments say, save of QD and use a light consentration of water and car shampoo. Ps dont clay in hot weather, best on a cool overcast day. Shouldnt be too difficult in this country
  12. My old man works in a garage and regularly had failures of this sort. I have to as it is a problem with the Nissan Navara though. The shells in the bottom end get blocked and starve the moving parts of the oil. I know that this isn't an inherent issue with the Z's but you will always get a bad one along the line or it's been abused in some form whether ill treatment or lack of mechanical servicing. Hope you get it sorted.
  13. Has the intended routes been decided? if not is it possible to do so, i can upload my sat nav.
  14. Looks pretty average to me, 30sec of actual ride time, I know it's only my opinion but having been to Orlanda and done the theme parks some last for 90sec and are awsome.
  15. Thanks, Monaco is in early May and there are also no French school holidays in the end of June which is probably our prefered dates
  16. Sounds great, did read your thread and will wait your update thanks.
  17. Cant speak for anyone else, but myself and Linda are spending the day in Chester before driving down for about 4.30pm ish. So if anyone is travelling down from the north and want to meet up in Chester and drive in convoy to the Moreton ledt me know.
  18. Hi Ryan, The trip will be a little of everything, sight seeing, drinking some wine , catching a few rays (well for Linda anyway). The perfect day would probibly go, get up. breakfast, drive + sight seeing, return late afternoon, put feet up beside a pool or in a garden with a bottle and some cheese. The trip is not necessarily going to be French specific i:e day trips to Luxenbourg, Gremany or Geneva but a central base is preferable. We want to get far enought south to almost guarantee some walm weather. Nancy / Dijon seems to be decent locations to do most things but as i know absolutely nothing about any of the French regions i'm in the dark on where to go so any advice will be greatfully received. Ps What is the weather like at this time of year Late June?
  19. I know it's a some to till 2014 but i'm planning a trip to France in May or June next year. I will be taking the Z and staying for 10 to 14 days. The problem is i've never been to France and am stuck to decide where to stay. I'm in a quandary whether to go down the West coast, do central France or just stick to the boarder routes past Belgium, Luxenbourg down towards Geneva. I dont want to travel much further south than Dijon. Ideally i want to find a Gite that sleeps two with off road parking to use as a base, then tour about the region from there. So far i've come up with a couple of options. (1) Get the ferry to St Malo and drive South from there, both the West coast and central areas can be accessed from there. option (2) Which is probibly the prefered option, Euro tunnel then drive South from there doing the boarder routes. I have search hundreds of sites and get more confused the more i search just because of the sheer choice at hand. Any advice or pointers are welcomed.
  20. If anyone can make contact with james and let him know of the 2 spare rooms. His PM box is full and not accepting messages. Nor do i have his contact phone number.
  21. I dont think so, Ive had mine for about 3 1/2 years and the clutch is near the top end, never had any problems.
