  1. What about a faulty coil pack, high resistance when under load?
  2. This happens more than you think. Only the other week I was called to a RTC when I got there I was met by a Impreza which had both rear wheels ripped off and the axel that had gone through the boot. Upon speaking to the driver he informs e that he was the dealers mechanic out on a test drive following a routine service.
  3. Sorry my mistake (stubby fingers) £300 it was. No plans for the skirts unless I could find some original Nismo ones with a perfect fit as I like to do my own mods rather than pay extra for someone to fit t for me. All the replica skirts I've seen need some body working to get the perfect fit
  4. Bumper was £200 from RT-Performance http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/58853-nismo-v1-style-front-bumper-perfect-fit/ the spray was a further £200 from a local body shop + http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/30380-alum-mesh-grills-powdercoated-now-with-clips/ £15 The only advise is, if you buy from RT get them to send it without primer as it will need to be worked on to get perfect flat finish.
  5. meguiars do headlight restoration kits. Not sure how affective it is but may well worth a go.
  6. I'll Have it if PH7 hasn't already snaffled it
  7. I'm also sure that you cant fit front rays on the rear as the central locating hub hole is smaller than on the rear.
  8. I'll be down to see it in person when it's finished.
  9. 1. Headlight washers, yes the water comes out quite fast and the slop back style of the lights make the water hit the windscreen. 2. Gears 1st to 2nd is always a bit of an issue. personally I just allow the gears to drop in rather than trying to force it in an it works fine. 3rd. I could always manage to use the voice commands but this was with a Nokia. I can't say for the IPhone's.
  10. Good point I will check my policy. Thanks
  11. my only concern is any repatriation of the Z if something really major occurs & never been to France ever.
  12. Thanks Mopedmark. My intention is to go via the tunnel then to Le Mans onto the Vendee area for a week where I have secured a base to travel from sight seeing the area. Then making my way back up through France with 3 various stops ending in Bruges for a couple of days before returning on the North Sea ferries back to Hull.
  13. As the title say. I'm embarking on a French road trip next June and in the planning process. I'm covered by Green Flag at the moment which give 90 days EU road side assistance plus the other benefits. I was wondering if anyone has any experience in this area who could advise on any other cover available. Not really bothered about the cost as this will be factored into the trip.
  14. Forgive me if I'm wrong but, The Z has hydraulic cam lifters. if there was a genuine oil pressure issue then the lifters wouldn't work correctly and the engine would sound like a can of marbles.
  15. Sorry Andy, that dreaded thing call work is in the way. Have a great time.
  16. I really hope you're joking. If not, that's probably the dumbest post I've read on here for a while. +1 Dumber than dumb
  17. Stick with the Ping's. I have used the I15's since they came out and there as good as anything on the market. The difference now days is the technology in the woods and hybrids. It's all down to preference. Iv'e been of 2 handicap for many years now and have no intentions of changing.
  18. One of the more common illnesses. My father had this 2 years ago (the more severe type) following a course of chemotherapy which isnt very nice he has made a full recovery and has now been clear for over a year. Hope the same happens to Murray.
  19. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/62786-nismo-n1-project-finally-fitted/
  20. Nice of everyone to chip in and make the whole event a success. Two worthy charities.
