I have been reading on the us the370z forum posts about tyres they been using over there and the bridgestone RE11 is highly rated, has anyone got them on their car or had any experience with them? What tyres has everyone been using and their reviews? Looking to replace my tyres in the next few months thanks
-
my first modification has been brought already and I have only had the car for two days, not a good start. should get a mini meet before winter kicks in Neil? Always had a soft spot for the 370z which is funny as I hated them at first but they grew on me. hows the skyline going?
-
Haha Jay, looking forward to the meet, ask Gman if he can go too if you got time. Need to get the service part done then will be making a couple of purchases. Two great items have caught my eye on the for sale thread. Thanks for the comments too, love it and it was the right choice to make.

After selling my 350z and drove a passat 4wd as a daily, I started to miss the car but felt I wanted a change. I tested out a few cars from a focus rs, bmw m3 to a 370z. Despite all cars being impressive in their own ways, none of them ticked all my boxes as a complete package other than the 370z. I decided to bite the bullet and search for one in the exact spec I was looking for and found one. I picked it up on Friday night and after owning a 350z for two years which was heavily modified, the 370z is a huge improvement over the 350z in every way in my opinion. I feel the 370z is more refined and is not as raw for a drive then the 350z but I am 100% happy with the decision to change from the 350z to the 370z. Only modifications on the car are light tinted windows and the alloys are powdercoated in titanium grey. I cant wait to get started on this project but service, tyres and tax is first before l start. Jay mate, now there is two white 370z coupes in glasgow

As far as lm aware its the 91ron and that is the only mod on the car as far as l can read and same goes to other owners with similar gains. Could be a worthwhile purchase plus impressive dyno figures for just an intake on a n/a engine
-
his average standard whp was 258 and after fitting the intakes, his average afterwards was 275whp. Quite a few people on that forum have similar gains and cant fault the quality of the kit. Stillen said they have tested the intake on 50 different dyno runs to get the best gains from them.

http://www.the370z.com/intake-exhaust/2990-stillen-longtube-g3-intakes-review-dyno-impressions.html I know take rolling roads dynos with a pinch of salt but makes an interesting read for those who are considering this intake

I have decided to test the waters to see if anyone will be interested in my car, really needs to be seen and driven to get a good feel of the car. I know what my next car is going to be so its time to sell even though I have loved this car from start to finish and will be sad to see it go. Service history, during my ownership, it has gone through p1,p2 and the big p3 service which invloves changing every fluid and filter in the car. aircon and alternator belt was changed, new droplinks were put in last summer, new ACT clutch was put in last winter along with clutch slave cylinder and exedy flywheel. New brake discs and pads will be fitted at some point next week and rear brakes+pads were changed at 40,000 miles. Basically, I have covered all areas so the next buyer has potentially a problem free car. Full service history is provided and receipts for every piece of work done on the car from services to modifications since I owned the car. Car is my daily so have been using it everyday going to and from work, most of it is motorway driving. The current mileage on the car is 60,000 miles but anyone who has seen the car from shows knows I look after my car and can vouch the condition of the car. Modifications on the car: 2004 registration genuine V3 veilside front bumper, side skirts and rear spoiler Nismo rear spats Seibon carbon bonnet with vents Buddyclub pro racing lightweight forged alloys in polish black Vinyl wrapped roof and bpillars in carbonfibre 06+ rear led lights performance rear boot struts ACT clutch and exedy flywheel Uprev installed on the car (got dyno graphs) 285bhp 282lb/ft Motordyne Plenum spacer K+N cold air feed induction kit Veilside full titanium system (best sounding exhaust and rare as anything) Japspeed y pipe Rsw full carbonfibre interior trim shipped from japan (chillired) Pioneer 3200bt double din headunit Nismo style gearknob Carbon engine cover, red earthing kit and nismo caps Full brembo upgraded brakes front and rears Comes with the standard gt features such as heated seats and cruise control taxed until dec 2012 mot is not due till 10 months time tyres have around 3mm left of tread, toyo t1-rs all round Any questions drop me a pm, would prefer to sell it within the forum as want another member of the forum so I know it will be looked after. This is a car which gets attention from everyone including the elderly in a good way as had quite a few friendly chats with them Always ran on Vpower or tesco99, nothing else. Car has been fully detailed around 8 times since I have owned it. In my opinion the veilside kit blends in with the car due to the fact its in black so looks aggressive and has a good stance without over doing it. I am looking for £11500
-
the bonnet is worth that price as I have been quoted £700 for a new one plus postage
-
I might be selling my veilside full titanium system in the very near future pm if interested and I have sound clips too if you need some but ask anyone who has heard it and they agree it sounds
