Mishimoto oil cooler - does it actually work?
Chan267 replied to Dynamic Turtle's topic in Performance
Most aftermarket oil coolers are essential for the 370z if you planning to take it on track as the oil temp jumps to 120 after a few hot laps at kh. Now l can do almost double the amount of laps and it sits around 90 on the back roads during a hot day. -
Cl pads have been another opition l was considering, will pm those who can get me them for the 370z.

What is everyone using? I have used the ds2500 but looking to upgrade them to get more bite on track. Does any traders sell the carbontech xp8 or the pagid rs19 for the front?

Package has finally arrived from the states

I have the twm short shifter and have had no issues whatsoever with the syncro rev matching on it plus l have used it on track with no issues. All its doing is reducing the throw between gears so cant see it doing any damage to anything in my opinion. Gman, we should meet up and keen to see what you think of my 370z compared to your nismo. -

Gman, definitely worth upgrading to a short shifter as it makes the car so much better to go through the gears. Be keen to see the difference between mine and yours. Were you on the m77 heading towards glasgow as spotted a nismo around half 4? Still loving yours? Lol jay, really like the oem alloys but have been looking about to see what choices they are. I was considering the carbon ducktail but the wing made a huge difference on track so wont be changing it anytime soon. Thanks for the comments guys -

Quite alot of mods have been added on to the 370z since I got the carbon parts put on the car. After taking part in three track days last year, I discovered some flaws with the current setup so I decided to upgrade what was needed. I will list my mods and any questions then ask away or more than happy to take you out at a future meet. my mods are: Stillen G3 intakes Stillen 25 row oil cooler Motech power steering cooler berk hi flow cats Invidia full system KW V3 coilovers Eibach front and rear spacers Eibach front and rear sway bars Eibach front camber kit and rear toe&bolts to get the ideal setup for my car Apr 300 world challenger carbon spoiler Custom front fenders Twm short shifter (what a difference it makes, one of my favourite mods) Goodridge brake lines ferodo ds2500 pads and upgraded discs all round michelin pilot super sports tyres (best tyres I have used as an alternative to slicks) Car was remapped at rs tuner in Leeds, it made 322whp and around 290lb/ft, car felt alot more responsive in every gear so recommend them. here are some of my latest photos other than the ones i have posted recently -
nrenz123 it is the carbon top secret lip and custom carbon side skirts that I got imported from the US. Lacky, I have the KW V3 coilovers and eibach 15mm spacers for the front and back. Spacers make the alloys sit pretty flush but you do lose some feedback through the steering wheel in my opinion. Eibach springs would make the ride less crashy but I have no experience with them. thanks everyone for the feedback, the wing is abit OTT but I really like it looks plus it was night and day with the difference it made on track. I took several videos on track which I have been too lazy to upload on youtube using my go pro with the brillant go pro mount I got on one of the group buys. Going to update my build thread as its been a while

Had a mini photoshoot with my friend who was bored so decided to use my cars for photos. Alot has changed since l was last on the forum, more to come but right now Im very happy how my car looks and performs on track. Comments are always welcome

I have the TWM performance short shifter and its a great mod. The vibration when sitting on idle from the gear knob is almost gone and the shifts feel alot better. Would highly recommend it as l Thought the gear changes on the 370z were short already but l was wrong
-
I will have one if you still have any kits left
-
My car made 370bhp at rs tuning then 372bhp at ava rr but like most people said, its how the car drives that matters the most. Will get both 370z out and you can see for yourself the difference between the two.

Sorry to hear about this but hope it gets sorted out soon and back on the road again.

Yeah had to pay import tax on top of the shipping charges and admin fees from the courier. Its expensive but worth it. -
