  1. first yellow 350z I have seen so far and it is very eye catching from a distance, really nice
  2. I went down for a remap on wednesday but been busy since then so just posting up now. When I brought the car, I was told the car had been mapped but I was abit as it wasnt custom mapped on a rr but instead it was a generic map. My car initially ran a 272bhp and 255lb/ft which means it was down on power as I have premium spacer, kn induction kit, y pipe and full veilside exhaust system. After a few runs, I noticed my exhaust sounded different, more toned and aggressive after Paul have tweaked the remap to my car. In my 11th run, i made 285.4bhp at the fly and 270lb/ft. Thats only half the story as when you look at my graph, it shows my car gaining throughout the rev range from start to finish which is why I wanted the remap in the first place. My car was previously running very rich but now is lean and it shows as my last full tank gave me 400miles when before I only managed 320 miles with mixture of driving and roads. I am very happy with it and its my favourite mod on the car so far My car is 04 plate and has done 56000 miles had a slight problem getting on the rr due to my car being so low
  3. love it not seen you or Jay on the road in ages, where have you both been hiding?

update new gearknob and headunit washed, polished and waxed
  7. I should have said about £1200 for alloys only, thanks for the opinions, i am down to three choices varrstoen 2.2 or 3.3 or get my current alloys refurbed in titanium gunmetal and spend my money elsewhere on the car
  8. I definitely want 19inch alloys to replace these if I went down that route, want alloys that suit the aggressive style of the kit and dont want to get similar alloy design to the current ones. Budget is around £1200 and would prefer the design with a lip or deep dish style some inspiration I have been looking at
  9. wow, well done in getting them and Im sure they will look good once the car is washed. I have been told the same info about ET for the fronts but the rear looks so have you sorted out the problem at the fronts?
  10. I have been thinking about changing my alloys for a few months now and cannot decide what to do so hoping everyone can help me. heres a photo of my car
  11. thanks GizmoR for the lovely gearknob, it is fitted already and will post photos later.
  12. thanks everyone got a new set of locking wheel nuts but not red, couldnt source any
  13. Uprev is on all the time, you are not able to switch it off like a revo remap if thats what you are thinking about. Everyone who has had the uprev on their 350z have nothing but good words to say about it. Steve W, your car sounds good and happy to hear you are happy with it. So hows the mpg these days driving on your daily commute? I have roughly the same mods as you to be interesting to see what power my car makes with the uprev
  14. hello Im looking for a red set of locking wheel nuts for my car? I have aftermarket 19s on them. The idiot who changed my two rear tyres for the previous owner, broke both of them and just stuck them on! Is there a particular size i need? What does everyone use? Thanks
  15. pm sent to steve, wish I spotted this thread sooner! Hope it isnt too late to join this group buy
  16. I realised the 350z standard xenon bulbs arent too good and was wondering if anyone has upgraded them? what rating are the standard ones 4300k?
  17. thats was me mate, I was changing cds and before i knew it a 350z flew by me lol. My reg says out David so not sure where the B came from Your my proper first spotting on this forum
  18. Zmax i have tried and it doesnt fit on top on the engine cover. Going to get the underside of the bonnet skimmed
  19. I fitted a 5/16 motordyne spacer that I brought from abbey motorsport. There is washers fitted with the new screws supplied with this spacer. My problem is because the strut brace is sitting higher than usual, it is a tight fit when the bonnet is closed. This causes either side of my bonnet to not line up as well as it did before. It is a seibon carbon bonnet and here are some photos of what I am talking about. Ian, I think shaving the underside of the bonnet is an opition I need to consider. Would getting an aftermarket strut brace work instead? The front sits prefectly though
  20. Hello I just got my plenum spacer from motordyne installed and my seibon carbon bonnet sits abit higher than usual. Has anyone had the same problem and how do people solve it? Has anyone removed the oem strut brace at the front and noticed a big difference? Any help or advice would be great
