  1. Wet dry and then high build primer? I'm not a painter, but like to dabble! RT; would that mean you applying said elbow grease first?
  2. Thanks all for the responses with pics What Paul has achieved - the whole centre strip through the car... that's what I want, but gloss black. How the fook do you prep that? It's all pretty textured, especially from the gear stick and back
  3. As above, any interior bits you've had painted... post pics (please) I'm thinking of doing my whole centre console right up to the drinks holder gloss black, anyone done similar? How do you prep the textured plastic for a smooth finish? Cheers, Cal
  4. Got these... better price than JDM. http://www.performancecreations.co.uk/s ... -675-p.asp Hope they're the right ones!
  5. My seats were a right ****ing mess... thank you previous owner! Anyway, Gliptone Scuffmaster kit is the bollocks! Not perfect, but a LOT better! Pics of the damage/neglect; Leather cleaner, agitate with nailbrush, wipe off, repeat; Scuffmaster colour dye/top coat for repair, wipe on with sponge, dab excess off, repeat. Leather conditioner, wipe on, dry, repeat... pleased with the results and would definitely reccommend it Excess conditioner in the perforations... (white dots) will soak in.
  6. Stuff arrived today... will get some pics of progress tomorrow, will be interesting to see how much of my leather it can fix as it really is a mess!
  7. Had a quick go at it for you as I'm unable to sleep Not easy to do... as any donor pic you find will obviously have different scenery/lighting reflecting off it Nope it gives you a general idea though
  8. Want these gone so hit me with any offer... if it's too cheap expect some swear words back, but I'll probably let them go
  9. I have a set unwanted also... PM me if need.
  10. Polish eBay one is a Gia Cuzzo replica... I looked into getting one, and I'm pretty sure there's someone on the forum with one going cheap... post in the wanted section
  11. Not long bought a VIS racing V2 replica off eGay... the fit along the centre of the base is very poor, it hangs high in the middle, I'm not sure it even makes contact at any point in the middle. The route I'm going down is a bolt at the two tips, (towards the pointed tips of the rear lights) and Tiger Seal on the main contact base points on either side just to ensure it sticks in place. Photoshop attached...
  12. http://www.liquidleather.com/car-shop.html Is it the 250ml Scuffmaster Automotive Kit what you went for? Contents: 250ml Dye / 250ml GT12 & GT11 / 15ml Leather Degreasant, 65ml Gloss Enhancer / 1 x Cotton Cloth / 1 x Towelling Cloth / 1 x Nail Brush 1 x Small Leather Scented Air Freshener £53 My seats are in a right state (from previous owners) cracking everywhere, especially where your arse goes on the perforated leather - several big flakes of the black 'top coat' come off to show orangey dry unfinished leather underneath... stands out like a sore thumb
  13. Hmmm carbon but no cheap plastic ones! Thanks for the replies lads

  15. Cheers Chis Balls... ordered some off eGay and the fitment isn't wedge, two pins. Should I waste my time even trying them? Like this;
  16. Thanks mate, yes it is haha, a VIS v2 replica... did you find yours a pain in the RS to fit? Doesn't fit flush on the baseline by the window, oh well... still looks good
  17. What, you don't like my chop? I'll put purple handles on your doors again No no don't be silly... you've done a very good job
  18. White to black is extremely difficult to Photoshop... a white car does not show highlights like a darker colour does, it only really displays shadows and midtones. So yeah, close your eyes and imagine it
  19. This is what I went with... Z kick plate style badge from Zmanalex Crappy light phone pics unfortunately - it's getting dark
  20. Looking at doing the front and back... are they the same type bulb??
  21. Anyone have any experience with either of these? Looking to use them with my JDM/UK Brembo converted, 19" Rays/Nismo LMGT4's. Should I have any issues? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/D1-LONG-WHEEL-NUT ... 3a63e72cdd http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-350-Z-Lock ... 1e5d2d6420
  22. Is there such a part? As below, looks like it sits in the recess and blanks out the holes where the bracket pops through?
  23. Anyone know if this would be suitable to cover the holes? http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/item_detail.php?prodID=60807 Other than that I think I'm going to go with this style I recently painted/fitted to my front end;
  24. I can't afford to do that atm mate, so thought I'd see what people have done with various badges...
