I realise the texture would be kept unless you sanded/filled it, but the Krylon takes a lot of the hassle off painting the actual plastic.

This stuff comes highly reccommended for plastics... no sanding or primer! http://www.krylon.com/products/fusion_for_plastic/ From what I've read otherwise you would need to flat back, fully clean and degreasse, adhesion promoter, plastic prime, plastic filler prime, paint, lacquer!

Hmm I'd be really interested in this then... Get the **** on it
