i don't agree with it being a common colour, All I see are GM, Sunset and Azure's about the place. Currently on autotrader, of 374 zeds or sale, the most common colour is silver at 115, next is black at 78.............. Well they can't be being driven.

from what i remember about batteries they crank amp value and capacity. someone is abound to tell me i've got it wrong but i think thats what you have to pay attention to when replacing.

if the volts are around 14 when the car is running the i would say the alternator is doing it's job. I'll have a look later but i'm sure the needle on mine is above that figure.

When i first got the Z earlier this year, I was driving into bristol and there was a red Z coming the opposite way. I didn't notice it until some lights flashed and the guy started waving. As no one ever waved to me in the golf and i didn't know the geezer i immediately thought there was something wrong with the car and pulled over to have a look When it started happening on a regular basis i realised that we are all supposed to wave to each other

I wouldn't pay for it, the Z's seam pretty reliable. Depending on how long you've had your car and how you drive it i think you should have a feel of 'something is or isn't about to go wrong' I was given a year warranty with mine and don't plan on getting it extended when it runs out.

Is it? when i first start the car the rev's jump to about 2000 rpm with a very loud vroom but then go down to about 1300 - 1500 rpm and there is no rattle.
