Its the torque that will kill the engine not the BHP - ive got my kit at home ready to go and not even looking at bhp figures to aim for etc im more worried about where the torque curve will sit safely for my engine. bhp figures would be a bonus for me

Fit Supercharger, Fit ramps in garage, get out to more meets and save some dollar -
a lot of dollar for rebuilding engine, depends how far you want to go but can easily double the price and cost of s/c and install, he means through UK trader I dont believe there are any UK manufacturers of S/C for the zed

Spent the day spraying and it didnt come out too bad some places will have to be retaped and sprayed over but generally came out not to bad, at the last minute I taped off the fangs in the centre of the bumper (brave move) but think it came out ok - most of it will be hidden by the plate anyway Will have to retape spray and then glossify the lot. Happy with the fog lights though -
Anyone good with Thread sizes and pitches?
jumping350 replied to jumping350's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Thanks both, It was in my box of tricks I had so not sure where it came from, I had already looked into replacing it anyway the other day with one with AN Fittings as this seems to be a long winded affair!! -

yeah its the same width as the 1/8 so thought any other variation from that would mean it would be too big or too small? no idea what make heres a pic Il get a pic of the holes at bottom and side of FPR when i get back in from shops I measured the widths with a micrometer the other day and wrote them down and lost them, now my mate has borrowed them -

the place that has it all is online store, ive emailed them the pics but twice now they said they havent recieved email there is a AN fitting place up the road but they wont tell you anything unless you buy something that costs over £100 (and they don't have what I want), and all the little shops unfortunately have closed down now -

jumping350 replied to jumping350's topic in Off Topic Discussion
So I have an ISO thread? the shop sells the fitting in all threads so may not need a converter just need to figure out what thread I have would it be like m6x100 or something along those lines/format? or am i way off the mark? -
So basically need to change the nozzle on my fuel pressure regulator to a AN fitting. Bought about 5 now the closest one being a 1/8 NPT (whatever that is). Anyway it goes in one thread and goes tight and wont budge so obviously wrong thread pitch, the width is spot on though. What thread pitch is 1/8 NPT? would a 1/16 NPT solve my problem? im thinking that will be too small, ive contacted about 3 places who seem to take forever to get back to me so thought would see if anyone on here knew? here are pics of both, the blue one is 1/8 NPT have no idea what the other one is (the one i need to match ) Any help much appreciated

Here are a few known ones that do the job, the Apps are generally user friendly and good old youtube always shows you a demonstration https://www.google.co.uk/shopping/product/9433181003577915582?q=fitness+bands&es_sm=93&bav=on.2,or.r_qf.&bvm=bv.82001339,d.ZGU&biw=1517&bih=741&tch=1&ech=1ψ=8_SXVOOAF-LP7ga7p4HgDg.1419244790957.3&prds=paur:ClkAsKraX36gCxU5k9KpYWS7ELWl8hPtrqdRpGUgCGRpoXbvV8uxvSa2cNrZW_s-mffDBFG-09W2BPCzhl2jIFHk2yQ8xUWwleCRNgIy78wwi96nB3j14t4n1hIZAFPVH71uIude73ZO5GOcy7hTQE0wrAOpDA&ei=9_SXVMa_OMSM7AbwwYCYDg&ved=0CNECEKYrMAs http://www.outdoorgb.com/p/Jawbone_UP_Fitness_Wristband/?utm_source=froogle&utm_medium=directory&utm_content=GBR¤cy=GBP&country=GBR&SelectedBundle=180119&SelectedItem=647938&gclid=CMqJ0YW92cICFQQIwwod40cAPA or use the heart band (more accurate) and run it with app on smartphone https://www.google.co.uk/shopping/product/12485427035703877932?es_sm=93&biw=1517&bih=741&sclient=psy-ab&q=fitness+bands+polar&oq=fitness+bands+polar&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_qf.&tch=1&ech=1ψ=8_SXVOOAF-LP7ga7p4HgDg.1419245404356.3&prds=paur:ClkAsKraX9bTPUPxws1hcK-Jw_KANOulWioavJ-ueuTYarxB4ZeURS3SRWy10VpImpV6nXUHafWaM5wP-wmkGF3zUYMfXGgE0L6R8mHhXrjtB1F3dM-xhm0OhxIZAFPVH72ouc88LZqTjUQQfG1D5B9C8WaQow&ei=YPeXVIqUDOOt7gaHpoHwDg&ved=0CJsBEKYrMAM

do you mean the ones that measure Heart Rate and count calories etc? If so there are lots but generally anything thats ccompatible with your phone is good as you can plot your progress over a period of time. Main idea is you work out what 60% of your max Heart Rate is and aim to stay in that area when exercising. Whats your price range?

He spent the whole time asleep under the bumper didnt move until I had to do the other side of the bumper Yeah storing these things inside dont go down well, especially at Christmas with trees, presents and family in and out! if I don't want 2 broken legs over the holidays I wont be spraying inside! Ive already been banished to the garage to do it, sprayed once before indoors and there's still overspray on the door -

While the Veilside is off I decided I will spray the front lip section mainly to tie in with my two tone theme and the other to hopefully protect the front from more damage and stone chips (which I have avoided up to this point) Will most likely plastidip it and then put glossifier over the top to make it shiny - this should bounce off some of those stones On to taping, have a real appreciation for body work people now and taping off sections especially with odd lines and curves, got the fog lights the best I could, after an hour doing both sides I had to just leave it as it is before I went mad! Hopefully will be ok when I peel it off As always Project Coordinator Bandit was on hand to oversee the work and lend a paw Quickly got bored Had a yawn and retreated back to base Anyway much taping and newspaper later and prepped and ready for spraying (maybe tommorow) although the mrs has been moaning at me all day....something about Christmas shopping -

I was hoping my plate wouldn't and didn't want to resize it but you maybe right there, I thought vinyl plates are illegal? I like sparks Glad I did it really as I didn't want to take it out for fear of taking another massive scrape to the bottom, at least now I can just slide along and not worry to much anymore -

Thought id share my mod...might inspire someone to do it properly Spent a fair bit of dollar on the zed over the last 12-14 months and literally driven it 80 miles!! Mainly because I knew how much the Supercharger would cost and also since ive had my new front end resprayed ive not been happy. Immediately out of paint shop go to fill up at petrol station go into entrance (slight incline) and crunch new paint job literally lasted 6 minutes Luckily it was just the underneath of the bumper but the Veilside has a weird 3 step process going to the underneath of the car so seems to get lower the more you cant see! I have about 2 inches ground clearance at its lowest point and im not even lowered! (you can kind of see in pic how low it sits) Anyway over the 80 miles ive bottomed out about 9 times taking chunks of the underneath away on various roads and seems depending where I end up I have to crawl about - Not good with a S/C on the way. Current state of underneath after 80 miles - Basically gouged to hell it only seems to happen in two areas either side No where seemed to sell skid plates (not for a car anyway) or any that fitted my needs.....so as always with my elaborate plans...I bodged it Taped off the offending area and made a rough template drew template onto some 1mm sheet aluminium and prepared for tin snip agony messed up my hands after much cutting and filing and hammering in a vice like Gepetto! to end with to rough templates with a slightly curved edge to wrap round front of bumper, not catch on anything and basically bent the mental in shape of that section Now im no king fabricator so knew it would never come out perfect so got it to the best shape I could before I put it on, if I was to do it again I would spend more time on it to make sure it was better cut and even etc but my hands are like claws at the moment so im not doing it again Here's one of the sides I did but basically it will serve its purpose and protect the underneath and most of all is safe! No more gouges and any scrapes now I don't care may even gets some sparks off it Most importantly (in my opinion anyway) is the underneath is now protected and when the bumper is on and sits right as it would on the car you would never know its there, feel like ive protected my investment a bit now Surrey roads ..Bring It On Now i get ready to spray the bottom section of bumper black
