After Darren took me out in Adrian's car I would definitely say the auto felt quicker, primarily because of the shorter gear ratios and the extra gear. It gave the perception of being faster, whether it actually was I don't know. Manual vs auto is a personal thing and it's best to try both out. Some love the auto others the manual. For me the there was too much delay in the auto gear change, even with paddles, it kept changing too early and I felt I was missing out on some of the driver involvement, so went with manual.

I would also recommend TGM - yes they may cost more but they get the job done perfectly.

Is the window tight into the rubber on that side? If it is i doubt there is much you can do. Fingers crossed a window adjustment should sort it. There should be posts on the forum to guide you through how to adjust the window

I spoke to sly at kaizer motors about this as it does seem to be a fault with the roof in some cars.i know one owner who has had 3 roof replacements, and others have had similar issues.I thank my lucky stars my car is fine and the windows clear the roof by some considerable margin when the doors open and close. For those that do have windows that catch the roof they wear the material and they do it quite quickly. Sly said the roofs are extremely complex. Nissan engineers are sent off for 3 days for training just on the roof of the 350 and 370, and if someone does not know what they are doing they can make things worse. There are things you just should not touch wrt adjustments and if you knock those out you will have a bigger problem. May be worth giving sly a call to see if he has any advice. Good luck.

What a great little circuit, very challenging and some very quick cars on there. Being chased down my radicals, and flame spouting minis was rather epic. I can see I will like it a lot. Unfortunately after a 450 mile round trip only got to do the morning session as the hose to the power steering decided to split. Engine bay needs a little detail lol. Should all be back up and running in 2 weeks for rockingham. Some lovely cars there, will post up some videos later. Thanks again ken and family for the lovely lunch spread, you did us proud again.
