The 370 is going to depreciate, (unless it's a roadster ) it's a big gas guzzler and people don't want that nowadays. You can get good cars for reasonable money now, but you have to factor in the loss in value if you are worried about total costs. IMHO it's not the initial cost of the car that's the main factor it's the upkeep, maintenance and running, but I guess you know that from the 350.

It was the right decision for me, I had the old 276 350, and it was a nice step up in quality and power delivery. However it is an evolution of the 350 not a massive step up or a different car. I know a number of people who I have let drive the car who have later 350s and many of them said if they didn't look down into the cockpit they would have thought it was a 350, which I can understand. Only thing to do is take a test drive and ignore the sound of the stock exhaust.

Yup I was informed they sold, now memory is dodgy but it was either 15 or 50 uk wide last year, so they have ceased them for the uk. Means my car will hold it's value better so it's an added bonus.

I know of 2 members on here who had them and were very unimpressed. One kept going back due to engine issues and another had some interference with the phone and the radio unit. Looks cool but not a fan of French cars, keep hearing stories of dodgy electrics. May be an old wives tale like alias reliability, but where there is smoke there's fire.

1500 miles in and I've totally fallen in love with my car again. I'm never selling. The stillen is a perfect accompaniment to the views. Best day ever, fantastic roads, breathtaking views, and to top it all off walk into a 4* hotel with spare rooms, get upgraded to a huge room with balcony over the pool, and Rosie gets to park up near an SLS 500 so she's happy for the night. Waitresses are dam fine here too, may stick around longer.

We are now parked up at San berdinardo, found an amazing road here. What's cracked me up though is ken has been hunting for a jet wash for the last 500 miles as his car is a bit dirty - pics to follow. So I asked the hotel landlord where the nearest jet wash is and he said 25km, but he had a surprise, ken is allowed to use the hotel firehouse to clean the car so he's happy This place is amazing.

Lol, thunderstorms in the uk all the way to Dover. Then cross the channel and glorious sunshine and 36 degrees all the way to Baden Baden and waves from passing cars Roof down all the way and Let's just say I'm a little bit pink at the moment though.

Rosie is on 42k now. Just had a new set of MPSS put on for the euro roadtrip. Last set lasted about 15k, including quite a few trips to wales, where I think most of the rubber was deposited

I try to avoid washing the car in the sun. Thought I was being clever yesterday, I know I'll wait until 9pm when the sun is going down and wash the car then, never read the weather report. Couple of hours later the thunderstorm started........
