.Your question is fair sipar, as to what is acceptable. Banter is fine and part of general back and for on the forum, also the OP asked for comments and since it is a very distinctive build it is going to receive both positive and negative comments. However this thread was going way off track into irrelevant digs that had nothing to do with the car or the build. Historic clashes between members were continually coming into play. This may not be immediately obvious when reading through the thread as we have already hidden a large number of posts. G-man, as to your comment about biased moderating you should already know this is not the case but yet you continue to keep throwing this comment out there and just won't let it go. The message is simple, stay on topic or move on. I and the other mods are getting a little fed up having to hide large numbers of posts in this thread despite repeated to stay on topic. Have some respect for the OP and other members.

Without the need to reference insurance cover or various rules put in place over the years, limiting the event to zeds is a common sense requirement for an event such as this. But I do completely understand your question Dan and its one that is asked every year. Wales is always a popular event that is heavily subscribed and involves considerable planning given the number of people involved. Limiting the event to zeds is therefore common sense. However, this year the numbers are less so one could argue let other cars in. But in its simplest form Wales is designed as an event exclusively for forum members with zeds. Allowing other cars moves it away from this. In its current form it is zeds only for this year. But it is fair and right to have the discussion on the forum to see if that should change going forward, but then it would become a different event. Ultimately we are trying to ensure Wales as an event continues on each year but if that format changes then so be it, that could be a good thing or possibly not, it may have to change with the times, but this has to be planned, agreed, organised and supported by those concerned and those organising the event. Hope the above makes sense in my rambling sentences

Great quality job, the car is certainly unique and will stand out. Hardly recognisable from the car I've followed across the UK over the last 5 years. Good for you for going for what you wanted and being different.

yay, saw a video demo on PS4 with 48 cars in an AI race, far more than i was expecting and impressive for a console. Not sure if it will allow so many real players. High hopes for this game, don't let me down...... Cant wait.

That totally sucks. It annoys me when others have so little consideration for other peoples property, but i guess thats just the way some people are. I try to minimise the issue by parking in places that limit exposure to damage but sometimes you just cant tell. A couple of years ago it was a lovely day so decided to take my car out for a drive to visit friends. Had a lovely meal and some drinks so couldnt drive home but parked the car safely in a nice out of the way place. Next morning woke up to find someone had keyed the rear wheel arch. I just hope karma gets them in the end. Thing to consider is this is just one of the low points. Think on the positive, Sly will sort your motor our, try and polish out the marks or get them sorted then summers here to enjoy the car. It will all be forgotten when you start her up and open the windows

Yup flyboy is bang on, I have heard cases where people were left with huge bills when the insurance company were not able to claim the hire costs back so claimed from the hirer.
