  1. Not really a joke but found it rather apt that this particular journalist ended up writing this particular article. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/commen ... 065824.ece
  2. That just got all my friends in stitches, great find
  3. That's not good, knowing those scratches are there would wind me up big time, especially as your car was in such great condition. Definitely get them to sort that. Good luck.
  4. Maybe I need this guy at my side during our 350 runs so I can keep up with you guys
  5. I'm with you 100% 2 months on and I'm still grinning like a moron and finding any excuse to go for a drive. Wish I had bought one tears ago.
  6. Cheers for organising the day, pity it was a washout but it was good to catch up with you all and meet some new faces. And the trip up in guns was a bonus
  7. Sorry to hear about the leak. Good luck getting it fixed
  8. Having had the pleasure of travelling up to santa pod yesterday in ebizeds 370 that has a stillen I couldn't agree with you more. It sounded fantastic and far better than the stock exhaust on the 370 I had for a week. Nice and deep when you want it and not intrusive when you want to sit back and cruise on the motorway.
  9. It does look good but i'll be waiting for GT5. In the mean time if you are looking for a cheap ps3 game to tide you over til then get DIRT 2, now that game is alot of fun. Added benefit is with a wheel its like a gym session too. Fantastic game.

Thanks for the update Graham, good to hear all is well with Darren. All the best for a speedy recovery mate. Hope to see you soon.
  11. A mug of hot water with loads of manuca (excuse spellig but it's something like that) honey with a little lemon juice will sort you out. Otherwise either vodka or whiskey is a good healthy alternative that usually does the trick
  12. Yup Darren was a real star helping me out there. If you are out there Darren hope the operation went well and you are on your way to a full recovery. Bet you are missing the zed already.
  13. Latest weather reports for the area don't look good, heavy rain scheduled from 1-4 and moderate rain either side of that. If that is the case, given my roadster is a little leaky at the moment I think I may have to pull out I'm afraid . Even bought the claying kit to give it go ready for tomorrow but it's still raining and can't get out to try it...bugger.
  14. Well at long last i have managed to upload all of Bruces pictures - all 250 odd of them. He has reduced the quality so it wouldnt take me weeks to get them online. Colin i know you mentioned the hotel may be interested in some of the cars with the hotel in the background. Bruce managed to get pics of us all pulling out of the car park. Dont know if they would be any good to you. If anyone wants higher rez versions of anything let me know. Looking through these brought back happy memories of racing ... i mean driving along those lovely welsh roads in the glorious weather that is typical of that region i call home..... http://s1016.photobucket.com/albums/af2 ... ed%20meet/
  15. Glad you love the car. Funny your initial feeling for the 370 were exactly the same as mine when I had one for a week. That side / rear view is fantastic. A big improvement to the front and back is to add a carbon cover see some pics of ebizeds storm white 370. His cosmetic changes both with the carbon and spacers make a huge difference to the look of the car. Next mod would definitely be an exhaust. The 370 with a standard exhaust is really missing out. Again I believe ebized has a stillen (??) installed and the sound is superb. If you think yours is nice now wait till you hear that exhaust. I'm sure there will be another meet our way soon and you can see 'guns' and have a chat to Colin about his changes. Getting it professionally detailed is also a Great idea. Should cost about 200 but it's a Greta chance to watch and learn them prep the car and give tips. Enjoy the car and maybe see you at the next meet.
  16. Omg the photos show that must have been one hell of a crash, scary
  17. Welcome and congratulations. Looks lovely in white too. Enjoy.
  18. Now I see how you got to those 1000 posts
  19. Situations like this always remind me that there are idiots on the road. I remember years ago driving up to Nottingham on the duel carriageway in the fast lane overtaking lots of lorries and there was a white van right behind me trying to push me out of the way. There was nowhere to go so I kept overtaking all the lorries. Managed to pull in at long last and the driver in the van was furious. He tried to side swipe me as he pulled over forcing me onto the shoulder and he threw his coffee cup at my car. Rather foolishly his passenger window wasn't open so the coffee exploded on the inside of this window. Made me chuckle. Some people really shouldn't be on the road.
  20. I know your pain at 6ft 7 i do have problems getting comfy in the zed. However its a far better state in the zed than the other cars i test drove. Went in to try an s2000 and tried to put up the hood and nearly got decapitated. I find the best seating position is to move the seat forward (oddly enough) as far as i can without my knees touching the dash and then tilt the seat back as far as it will go. That way im reclined enough to avoid hitting my head on the roof bars (i have a roadster) and my bum is in the right place on the seat. Other option is to lop a few inches off my legs but i dont love the zed that much . If i dont set the chair up like this i do get the feeling that my bum isnt where it should be on the seat though as does pinch and im fairly slim. I would imagine it would be more of a problem for wider rather than taller drivers
  21. Sure will be lol, trial by rain. Fingers crossed it will hold up, otherwise ill try to get that 370 back
