  4. Ah yes I loved mask. Mobile Armoured Stike Command vs the Viscious Evil Network Of Mayhem. (VENOM) Matt Tracker vs Miles Mayhem, Sly Rax etc....omg where in my memory did that all come from.
  5. Wow bet you had great fun, sounds like you are loving the car and the roads. Glad you are enjoying your new toy and having fun putting it through it's paces.
  6. Ahh you just beat me to it mate! Great video that, really brought back memories. Good to see I still know the theme song, not sup rising really given it was on for so many years. I agree another great had to be battle of the planets, had the toys for that too. There was one cartoon where I remember plant like aliens that could turn into vehicles with razor disks and claws on top, ummm now what was that...
  7. Thanks for all the tips and advice on Tuesday, and the pm's. Really appreciated it guys n gals thank you. Just picked up the car today. It's been in a local garage having the exhaust temporarily fixed so it's drivable without blasting my head in. They did an excellent job, apparently it had cracked twice, once on the rear box and once on the flange on the centre pipe. They spent hours on it but only charged 1 hour labour It's a lot quieter but won't last long, but enough time for me to go start the hunt for a nice new zorst After I mentioned I heard a slight knocking rattling noise at the front they also noted that there is a slight play in the anti roll bar links which is causing the noise. Hardly anything and I only noticed it because I'm a fussy bugger. Thanks again for the help and advice, this forum really does add a great deal to the whole zed ownership experience. Wish I had bought one of these years ago and met you guys earlier. Anyways back to YouTube to listen to some exhausts..lol Will
  8. I remember one cartoon that went on for years as a kid - think it was called the mysterious cities of gold. You guys must remember that.
  9. Absolutely loved this series as a kid - it was great

  11. Ouch, now that's a quick end for a pretty car.
  12. Congratulations, bet you are happy:) Car looks lovely, enjoy and get yourself along to one of the local meets so you can show it off
  13. Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad you are enjoying your new car. The fuel bills are worth it when it puts a smile on your face
  14. Very nice job, the car looks lovely.
  15. Cheers, good idea. Local (non nissan) garage is going to try a temp fix and then i may give abbey a call about sorting a nice new shiny exhaust. Got no excuse now
  16. You are telling me, i now know how spursmaddave used to feel when his "bungs were out" lol
  17. lol that was rather timely given my current predicament. Is it still available. Very tempted to take it off your hands and get it welded whilst looking for a new zorst system. Need to see if it would be possible given the state of the break in the joint though
  18. Guys thanks for you help with this, really appreciate it. Yet again it really shows what a great forum this is and how it enriches the whole zed ownership experience. What a suprise, had a call back from the garage and wow the warranty wont cover wear and tear on the exhaust. Thats three things i've tried to get sorted on the warranty (roof, seals and exhaust) and none of it is covered, they are a complete waste of time. The call from the garage made me laugh though. Her : "Bad news im afraid the warranty wont cover wear and tear on the exhaust" Me : "oh ok, doesnt seem like it covers much at all to be honest" Her : "But you have only just recently bought it havent you" Me : "Yup three months ago" Her : "You should contact the garage you bought it from and see if there is anything they can do. When we sell a car we provide a warranty that would cover things like this so they should be able to help" Me: "I bought it from a Nissan garage with a nissan warranty" Her : "That should sort it then" Me "Sorry, now im confused, how does that help because you just told me a Nissan warranty wont cover wear and tear on the exhaust" Her : ......Silence...... I could hear the penny drop. Well i think Husky has the best idea, get a cheap box, get it welded locally (As we have so many surrey chaps around does anyone know of a place near guildford that can do that) and then look into investing in a new exhaust system. Anyways thanks again much appreciated. Will now have to put bungs in my ears for the trip home. Hope its going to be ok driving it around until i find a temp solution.....
  19. Done nearly 4k since ive have it - approx 4 months now. Went to northweald airfield on sunday so that may have broken the back of it - although i was behaving and didnt go crazy. Certainly not told the garage yet. Some have mentioned that every cloud has a silver lining and that this is an opportunity to replace it with a "proper" exhaust. Thing is i like the sound of the stock exhaust, deep and throaty when you need it, nice burble when you come off the pedal and quiet on the motorway. Wouldnt want something too lary. I will have to do some research and make up my mind quick sharpish, then see if the insurance premium changes.......ah well looks like teh alloys will have to wait. Exhaust will be the first upgrade. Any recommendations let me know
  20. Ok update... Just got back from the nissan garage. They say that joint between the exhaust and the back box has snapped and that a new back box is needed New back box for 371.85 Nuts etc £10 Labour and VAT takes total up to £550. They told me i shouldnt be driving it Maybe that activity day wasnt so cheap after all.. They are checking to see if it is covered by the warranty - if not i may get in touch with the garage i bought it from as ive had it 3-4 months. Guess im pushing my luck if they can help. Any advice?
  21. get the impression warranties arnt worth the paper they are written on I will see what they say.
