  1. Great little write up and picks. Always fancied one of those tvrs so it was an interesting read. Sounds like you had a lot of fun
  2. Lovely car, looks great. That 4th picture with the sun light really shows off the car colour well. Perfect weather to enjoy the roadster, I've been off out in mine all day with the roof down it's great.
  3. Graham beat me to the exhaust comment , i know if my car made the noise yours does id be revving it everywhere. hope you get the problem fixed that does sound very thirsty.
  4. Must have given you a scare, glad it's not going to be at Problem though.
  5. Looks lovely, nice job. I get the impression lots of zed owners spent the morning cleaning and the afternoon driving off to get nice photo opportunities. I wasn't doing that today either honest......
  6. All on one trip to the cinema, and here's me thinking a zed would be a rare and unique car. Not in Surrey lol. First zed was a very tidy kuro 07 coupe at the roundabout between deepcut and camberely, headingoff towards frimley. Then saw a White 350 coupe driving on the main road through camberely. I love the 350 and 370 in White. Come out of the cinema and a sunset coupe reg ntf was parked 3 cars down. Nice wheels
  7. Very nice, looks great. Seems we zed owners have problems parking though
  8. Very nice surprise, no excuses now to not have a spotless shiny car
  9. Dodgy people in Kent so I hear, much better over hear in civilised Surrey Yup most people wave, I've had a few of the top gun style salutes too, it's a nice community.
  10. Hey ladies and gents, My friend is in a pickle and given the wealth of knowledge on this forum I thought I would see if you guys could help with a non zed related mechanical issue. It appears that he needs a new clutch, and from what the garage say a new flywheel, for his 10 year old Subaru forester. Now the quotes he's getting seem crazy, anywhere from 1300 to 2k, mainly due to the labour costs and the flywheel (up to 900). does this sound reasonable or is the garage trying to rip him off. If so I told him he may as well replace the car. Anyone know where the parts could be sourced at a reasonable price? Cheers again.
  11. Ummm not too far away and this weekend should be nice weather, tempting.
  12. Fantastic job there, amazing given how that seat started. May have to get some.

    My New Zed

Very nice zed, best colour too Welcome on board
  14. Sounds great, you forgot time to clean the car before Wales though Really can't wait for Wales, looking forward to those roads and all those exhaust notes
  15. Sorry to hear the bad news about the car. It's a tricky situation. I had an issue with my roof leaking and like virtually everything the warranty wouldn't cover it. To be honest the nissan warranty is next to useless. I was lucky the garage agreed to sort the car out at their own expense and as a gesture of goodwill. As I was not prepared for this I had done some research and gone to citizens advice who were great. I found that if the car is not fit for purpose then you have 6 months from the date of purchase when you can return to keys to the trade seller and get your moeny back. it must be a trade and not a private seller. in the case of motor vehicles not fit for purpose has to mean it's pretty serious and the car is terminal. I doubt very much whether your issues would satisfy the criteria unfortunately. Sounds like it has now been quite a while since the date of purchase which will make things even more tricky. Sorry it's not good news. I would still chase the garage, mention you are a member of this forum and you pass feedback back here. Also try the fit for purpose route and see if they fall for it, doubt it though and hopefully they may fix the problems. I was luck yhope you are too
  16. Keep up the good work, bet you can't wait to get it out there. Keep us updated on progress

  19. Enjoy the honeymoon, fantastic place to go to. look forward to see what you are having done to the zed when you get back. If you want me to keep her ticking over feel free to hand the keys over and I'll look after her
  20. Rear left wheel looks ok, maybe a little curbed but refurb would sort it.
  21. Never had a problem with that hazard switch, then again it could be because of my rather stretched frame.
  22. Thats why I'm glad I got the 55 plate
  23. they look very nice mate, just stay away from the curbs
