  1. Lol god that looks awful, well apart from the bikinis. And here's me thinking mega shark vs giant octopus was bad haha.
  2. Excellent job, I had a small dent in an awkward place and he got it out perfectly in seconds, cant see any imprint at all now. Was thinking to get my money's worth I should have put a few more dents in it to begin with since he did such a great job Very impressed and an excellent price, thank you.
  3. Me and Octet got lost too........couldn't keep up with Bennett and took the route back the way we came. Good job we did too because Octets sat nav was sending him to the center of Wrexham instead of Moreton! Pity you got lost, that little convoy was very memorable and immense fun . How could you have lost Bennett? I'm sure you could have followed the sound of that exhaust for at least 5 miles
  4. Welcome to the club, and thanks again for letting me take your roadster for a spin in Wales, she's a beauty and I love the growl
  5. Would also like to say a big thanks to 1. Iain 2. Caroline and Pete 3. Dave 4. Graham 5. Bennett For letting me test drive their cars, it's fascinating to see how each and every one of them was different, loved them all. Iains had abundant power and pull, carolines had that lovely growl, dave that sound was awesome i cant wait for my berks, graham your car just stuck to the road and didnt roll at all, and bennet what can i say, awesome. Must admit I've still got ringing in my ears from the k1, man that car felt quick. Cheers
  6. Just wanted to say thanks for a great weekend, we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Great to see lots of people from the forum in the flesh and say hi properly. Some great cars and some lovely roads and scenery but most importantly some really nice people to spend some time with. My thanks to Colin, Chris and Beavis (and all others) for all their hard work organising this event, it must have taken a lot of hard work and organisation to run so smoothly, brilliant job Highlight for me has to be the final run back to the hotel from the cooks pitstop, man that was awesome and gave me a whole new level of respect for the zed. Great way to end a great weekend. Tut tut for all those roadsters who didn't have their roofs down in the rain though, only way to truly appreciate the welsh mountain roads Hopefully see you all again at future meets Will
  7. Saw it in the flesh in Wales and have to say, looked a very tidy job, top quality Good luck with the purple
  8. Congrats, perfect timing to buy a zed as the summer is here. Enjoy
  9. Good to see you today Will, car is looking tip top for the weekend Aye car felt very tight and solid on the way back, and now it's nice and shiny. Your looked fantastic. Safe trip and see you tomorrow.
  10. Very nice Colin, looks great. I was hoping to get mine done today, unfortunately the service at abbey uncovered a number of things that needed fixing, left to go there at 7am and finally got back at 5pm.... just started cleaning this evening lol. Still abbey did a great job once again and the car is sound and good to go for Wales.
  11. Good to hear it's sorting it's self out, man you have had quite a few things go wrong thus far, at least on a positive it will mean lots of hassle free happy motoring in the future.
  12. Welcome Ouch that is quite an insurance bill
  13. Well managed to find some pics of the car Dad had when he was 20, still got it and hopefully will be back on the road this year. I always thought the zed was nice and loud but shes tame compared to this one, hope you like. Shes had a busy life, here are some pics of her racing and hill climbing. Shes been through a few colour changes too. Wonder if our zeds will still be on the road in 80 years + time like this one Last one is Dad on a charity run 1 of 2 racing works engines i believe and a blower on the front - she goes like a rocket but stopping is another matter
  14. Bugger, I keep getting drawn back to this thread lol I really like that bumper Do you have any more pics from different angles / further back?
  15. Good news, just heard from Colin that Bruce has confirmed he will be coming up to join us for the welsh weekend to take Some pictures. In case people don't know him he was the chap that drove all the way up to north Wales for 1 day to be with us in august to camp out in the pouring rain with only a carrier bag over his head for shelter to take some cracking moving photos of us all. Good to have you with us Bruce
  16. Now I like that a lot, very nice Don't post too many other pics cos I have a kuro and you are giving me bad ideas
  17. Looks great, looking forward to hearing that exhaust on Friday
  18. Lol very true, saved my zed 3 corners after leaving the hotel last year.
