  3. Nice job there big transformation I'm lucky my seats are in pretty good nik but I may give that stuff a try. Where did you get it?
  4. I don't know what you are talking about dave I guess I'm just a follower of fashion and you are the trend setter. Being a sheep has never been so much fun. And that's speaking as a welsh man.
  5. Looking forward to seeing the results mate, hope it looks all spick and span

  8. Yeah that put a smile on my face, similar thing happened to a friend of my dads in his e type whilst racing up Prescott hill climb
  9. not part of the car that you would normally want to come loose. embedded - Neo
  10. You are a brave man, it was damp on the ring for us two weeks ago and I stayed well clear. What a great place though, still on a high when I think about it 2 weeks later.
  11. Sorry to hear you had a bad day. Although you get that attitude in many places it's definitely more common in London. Lived in hammersmith / mortlake for 5 years and really disliked the London attitude. Everyone just focuses on their own little world and sod everyone else. Glad i did it but never again, there's more to life.
  12. Puff that's only a small scratch don't see what all the fuss is about Ouch man that looks awful, hope the insurance comes out in your favour, looks like new panels will be needed. Fingers crossed for you. Your poor zed
  13. Yup same problem, I had all the seals replaced by the garage, made it miles better but I still get leaks in now and again, hardly a trickle but annoying, tbh I've learnt to live with it..... Those seals were very expensive yes, luckily the garage replaced them out of goodwill
  14. Cheers, I've been checking out the Highspeedfotos site too, nice ones on there.
  15. Hey Chris, did you check out the ring-bilder website, it was our hotel manager and he took some nice pics of your car
  16. Great news, big relief I bet
  17. Chris - yup you are right , brain is still on melt down, I meant Sunday and Monday. You should check out the ring- bilder website, he took some nice pics of your zed on the Sunday
  18. My Dad cutting a piece of wood with a big circular saw in his garage and ruling off a line with a pen and ruler a little too close to the blade with his finger tips was a rather memorable moment of my childhood.....
  19. Thanks for the comments guys, yeah it was a once in a lifetime must go....may go back too lol We didnt get insurance coldel, yes it can get dicey and there were a number of incidents but as a percentage of the number of cars there it was minimal. But yes if you are one of the unlucky ones then it can get very expensive. For example touch the barrier and dirty the track so that the marshalls are required = a £2500 bill to start with. But you just have to be sensible. if its raining or there are too many cars just hang back and wait. Saturday was a little too busy but sunday was fine and very quiet in comparison. You just have to be aware of other cars, take the first few laps nice and slow and dont over do it and exceed your ability. Admitedly you cannot account for idiots though. If you are worried you could always hire one of their Suzuki swifts. They are brilliant and not too expensive.
  20. I do believe it was mph - i looked over and saw the speedo then looked up at bennet and he had a big grin on his face
