  1. Sorry to hear about this, really does suck. One bit of advice i can offer which really helped out when my parents were burgled a few years ago. Mum decided to visit all the local jewellers to try to find the rings, watch etc that were taken as its likely they will be porned off. Luckily enough in one place she found one of the rings. She asked them to keep it by while she got her husband to come buy it. She went outside and phoned the inspector on the case. He came along and enterred with mum. The policeman stood there while mum ripped into the jeweler then arrested him. Mum got some bits back and felt a whole lot of anger off her chest. You never know they may find the watch this way. Unfortunately unless there are any witnesses its highly unlikely that the police can do anything. Sad i know. Hope everything gets resolved. I think its one of the worst feelings to live in a house that has been burgled, you never feel safe anymore. We moved soon after
  2. Id have to say i love the quality note of the milltek on my zed. I would agree though that it is on the quiet side. That was fixed with the hfcs, now i just love the sound.
  3. Been telling will to get a pop charger or such Milltek & Berks & Pop Charger sounds as Will knows all too well.... Haha, maybe one day but for now she sounds just right. Had to travel into the centre of london today and all those tunnels.... Enjoy the car mate, hope she sounds awesome. Milltek is a great piece of kit.

  9. I had to make the same decision a couple of months ago when i saw some idiot on the m25 driving like a maniac, even threw something out of the car at me when i wouldnt move out of his way (no where to go). I decided to report him, went in and gave a full report. Police at the desk really didnt seem too bothered. The PC even said throwing things out of a car isnt illegal....sigh. Still had a call a week later sayings thankyou for reporting it and they are following up but heard nothing else. Still glad i did it. If there is ever an issue with them in the future hopefully this will go down on their record and have an influence to get them off the road. Then again perhaps thats just me being totally unrealistic

  13. Thats what my dad did, used to sit in the front and help him change gear too. One of the reasons i love cars today. I put a child seat in the front of my roadster for my friends little boy who is 6. He really wanted to go in the zed and he loved every minute. We played a game where he had to watch the centre speedo and make sure i didnt go over the 30 / 40 mph speed limits and if i got close he had to shout. He loved it. We went through a few tunnels and he was smiling like crazy, he said "you car makes my tummy tickle in the tunnels" he wants to go in it all the time now. I say go for it.

  16. Seriously impressive video, great find. Reminds me of my uncle who designed and built the turner sports cars. He was a very gifted engineer. I remember when he was in his 80s and decided he wanted to build a minature steam engine, so he started by maching all the parts in his workshop building it up over time. So skillful.
  17. Lol some nice recommendations there jim Good luck with the car hunt ricey, mjst admit always enjoyed the process of looking for a new car, amazing how much time can be sucked away by autotrader
