  2. Great work there, looks like fun and very educational
  3. OMG ive only just stopped laughing. My housemate is not a happy shopper. He loves tabasco sauce and saw a great offer on the internet - £40 for 40 bottles. Not too shabby. They arrived recently and it was not what he expected. Never the less hes adamantly using them but its taking some practice. He got 40 bottles - heres an empty example Now for some perspective If he spent 30 minutes emptying all 40 into one real bottle it wouldnt even fill it. It didnt help when i cracked up and started laughing and crying, poor bugger. On a positive it tastes like tabasco
  4. Great job - looks lovely. Black looks amazing when clean, its a pity 5 metres down the road its covered in muck again. Still its another chance to get the mitts out
  5. Well if you need a hand moving give me a shout, ive got tons of storage space in the roadster to help

  8. Hey guys I have a request for help and was wondering if anyone can help. Another member has expressed interest in my berks and milltek and I wanted to do a direct swap with theirs so my car is road worthy. However it seems their exhaust is on its last legs and is unlikely to survive the transplant. Our plan therefore is to source stock replacements for the exhaust and berks and split the cost. Does anyone have these, obviously going as cheap as possible? Will pm zmanalex to check but wanted to throw it out there as we only have a 2 week window. Would be great to keep the exhaust and berks in the forum family
  9. Well lets just say ive treated myself to an early birthday present.   I had a long hard think and decided the 350 was getting a little longin the tooth but in all honesty i can truthfully say its all colins fault because of guns. That car looks and sounds so great. After every meet i used to look at guns then go home get on autotrader lol. I have been keeping my eye on a particular car for a few months now, it was priced well but a little too rich for me. Then on thursday they dropped the price by £4k. It was now seriously competive. Phone sky to check how bad the insurance premium increase would be and they totally suprised me. They said, "tell you what sir shall we call it evens and keep it the same".........  Booked a test drive for yesterday morning. Got there and shes a beauty. Registered in april 2010 shes a black rose roadster with connect premium. Shes done 6k miles in those 2 years. She was an internal nissan car, most proably owned by an accountat somewhere and shes spotless inside and out. Couldnt see a single stone chip on the front. Shes basically mint, i woulnd thave been able to find a better condition one thats for sure Cant wait to pick her up in 2 weeks. Im a happy bunny at the moment. Still a sad day for the old 350. Now i just need to sort an exhaust out. The invidia gemini sounds amazing. Will post somepics when i get back home but in the mean time heres a little taster of what i keep looking at http://www.autoblog.com/gallery/first-d ... -roadster/
  10. Maybe i will have to take a few spares with me to the next hoon
  11. Lets just say my username might not be so appropriate anymore
  12. Congratulations matey, i know how you feel letting a zed go. Bet you cant eait to pick up the new car. Got any pics?
  13. Well today is a sad but inevitable day. Ever since buying my little roadster a year and a half ago ive had a huge smile on my face. I can say without a shadow of a doubt its been the most enjoyable car ive ever owned. We've been all around wales together and had loads of fun on those roads. We've been to activity days and really got to play together. Convoys with friends have been so much fun with all those exhaust notes sounding off together. I love petworth and have often done little excersions together that way. A big highlight for me though was scotland where i truly fell in love with the car again, what fantastic roads and scenery. Trips to abbey motorsport to have new toys added have always been so rewarding and she enjoyed every one. Adding the milltek and berks made her sound like a true sports car. Shes a gem More importantly though the car has been a means to meet some really cool people. From it Ive also made a number of really good friends and im truly thankful for that. Friends and family are what life is all about, the rest is not important all things considered. But, and this is really weird as im an getting a little emotional as i write, today was the first step to saying good bye. Its time for a change and to move on. Shes been a brilliant car, wish i had bought one years ago, but things change. I will be posting up some for sale threads later as i would like other members to benefit from the rays wheels and the exhaust and berks as the garage are not bothered with them and id like them to go to a good home. Looking forward to the future but a little sad at the moment. Heres some little pics of our last 18 months together. And finally our first zed meet. Its been so much fun since that day. Got two weeks left to enjoy her, then i pick up the new toy.
  14. Interestingly enough i spoke to a nissan dealer about this today. I asked for explicit confirmation if issues with the hood would be covered by the warranty. Initially he said he wasnt sure. I asked him to confirm. He checked and made reference to the canadian nissan website ???? Which clearly stated that the warranty covered the complete car. Based on that he confirmed that issues with the hood would therefore be covered by the warranty and he would support that.
  15. The only time my zed ever tramlines is when the tyre pressures are off. Even a small amount below 35 can make a difference to the handling of the car.
  16. A few years back my mum gave her nissan sunny to our cousin. He was so pleased. He took it away and had a "wizard" pic spray painted on the bonnet. Dad asked him not to park it near the house whenever he visited. God it looked awful
  17. Great photos, my parents live in Hereford too, great stopping point for some lovely roads over in wales Good to see you are enjoying the car
