I admit i used to think the same, but in the right colour the 370 roadster looks far better. I loved the look of my 350z roadster despite many saying it looks like a pram or a ford KA convertible on steriods but when i parked it up next to rosie there is no comparison. Some angles the back does look big but its all in proportion and the lines look great.

Looks like a stock exhaust. Always liked the sound of the stock 350z exhaust. Lovely when you get walls either side. Only thingi id make sure is that the rear tyres are the same make and are worn evenly. Enjoy the car shes a beauty.

Welcome. Check for rips and leaks. Check the corners arnt being pulled too tight as ive seen quite a few that have started to separate. Look inside too into the corners for evidence of this. Look for rips low down on the hood just back from the windows as these are common and often missed when you first look. Take her for a drive roof up and windows up and listen for wind noise. On either side of the roof lining there are wires which keep the roof tight to the window. These minimse wind noise. If one of those goes it gets noisy and there is no repair option, its a new roof and that isnt going to be cheap. You really really dont want to have any roof issues

We have a fair number of members around your height, at least one of them is 6 ft 7 so you shouldn't have any problems Pete Welcome, and that tall lanky bloke pete is talking about is likely to be me . Im over 2m and had No problems with the 350z. Spent a week driving 2500miles around scotland on the hoon and had no aches or pains or head through the roof instances. Good luck with the car hunt, but as neil said make sure you are happy with the maintenance costs as the cost is not in buying these cars but running them. Then you meet people like Glrnet and spursmaddave and you start modding...........the slippery slope begins but tis so much fun. Welcome.

Tarmac was doing a brilliant deal with the gemini and berks, and i have to say the berks was the best thing i ever put on my 350z. It made the milltek sound amazing. But it did tend to drone a little and it kept triggering the ecu because of the air flow difference when it was cold and that is still an issue for the 370z. I know you can get that sorted though but i didnt want that hassle again. There is a fantastic video i posted about a road test of the gemini and berks on a blue 370z in the USA. The drive by sounded awesome, but for an every day drive maybe a little excessive. Lol. For now i wanted a nice quality sound, maybe i will upgrade to the berks later this year and i know that will be but for now im more than happy with the stillen as it is.....for now....

Spent lunch time today taking work colleagues out so they could see whats shes like lol. Popped over to a friend too and walking by there was a dad with his little boy in a pram. He stopped and turned around pointing to my car and waited for me to drive off while he and the kid smiled. Lol i love moments like that. And Chris, go on you kow you want too. Lol no point having a quiet 370

Yup, from what i read on the US forum there is absolutely no difference between the berks and the gemini cbe's. Side by side they look identical. This is only from what i read so i may be completely wrong however. My other worry was the feedback that the berks was too quiet. I think it would need the hfcs to sing to full potential.

This was my thinking 1) berks and invida Gemini are identical exhausts bar the name so berks was eliminated as you are simply paying a premium for the name 2) I was very very tempted by the gemini, it was £400 cheaper and sounded great on YouTube withberks but it was an unknown. I didn't know anyone with one or what it sounded like in the flesh. Alsoi had read reviews where a lot I people had said it was a quality sound but too quiet. I also read some stories about that exhaust cracking but they were rare. 3) Ultimately though it's all ebizeds fault as I've followed him many times and guns with the Stillen always sounded amazing. I wanted a piece of that. I trusted Colin's choice and the others on here who also went for Stillen. I thought better to pay a premium for a Quality exhaust I have heard on other cars. I didn't want to skimp on the exhaust after paying all that money for the 370 so just went for it. I feel I made the right decision Hope that helps

Took Rosie out for a little spin today to see what the Stillen sounded like. Took a quick video - apologise in advance as the vid is rubbish quality. I found out after i filmed it at 90 degrees so had to flip it and the sound doesnt do it justice but hopefully i'll do another soon Stillen sounds lovely, a little louder than the milltek but very similar but with more of an edge. Love it. May get the berks in the future but at present its a lovely quality exhaust for a quality car. Heres the vid - just doing nice gentle starts and drive bys. I was suprised when i gave the stillen a clean this morning. The pipes are so wide i could get my whole fist in with the mitt on !!!!!! On the way back my friend took me to Blackwood, they have a big air strip there and its all been set up for a scene from the new film Rush telling the story of Niki Lauda - was strange seeing a grandstand in the middle of nowhere full of dummies and a mock pit lane from the past. Will be going up there later in the year as Olivia Wilde is in it - she was soooo gorgeous in Tron.
