  2. Enjoy, lovely looking car. Zeds look fantastic in white
  3. I feel your pain I had exactly the same issue. Sounds like its in exactly the same place as My leak. If you look outside the car where the roof merges with the windscreen you can see a little rubber run off each side of the hood. The water comes down here and should filter down the windscreen. However I found the water actually flowed along the top of the window then up under a gap because of a poorly fitted seal. As a result water dripped in along the top of the door. Quick fixes: 1)lube up the seals 2) adjust the window to tighten the gap between the window and seal 3) none of the above worked for me so i complained to the garage I bought it from. This wasn't. Oversee by the warranty but as a good will jesture they replaced all the seals. This fixed my problem. However option 3 is very and I mean very expensive. It's crazy how much those seals cost. Zmanalex may bE able to help Hope you get it sorted. A leaking roadster really spoils the experience. Will
  4. nice work darren, making progress. Looking forward to hearing about this big update
  5. Its ok ignore me. Tried two restarts and no difference, leave it for 10 mins and post this thread and whallaaa its all working again - I love technology its like these things are alive and get some attitude every so often.
  6. Just out of interest has anything changed with the forum that could impact on the ipad. Works fine on my iphone and pc but on safari on the ipad im getting all the trader banners repeated across the tabs in the header, lots of grey and white repeating rows in teh header and the bottom of the page is filled with the X close buttons. Very odd
  7. Stormsure is brillaint for gluing material on the roof, definitely recommend it. Had my roadster out on the road for 2 years it was fine, apart from it tended to leak now and a again
  8. Not for me im afraid soz
  9. Wasso, spursmaddave, darren-b and i played a few games a while back was so much fun. Have to say though forza 3 is a lot better, gt5 is technically very good but its too clinical and has no soul. We have a forza 3 group online , although not that active.
  10. I absolutely loved my 350 roadster and i used to think the 370z roadster looked fat from the rear and in certain colours it looks odd, however after seeing one in the flesh i totally changed my mind and bought one and now i think the 370 looks far better and i love the rear.
  11. Welcome to the club, lovely car you have there, was that a pigeon that christened the bonnet
  12. Welcome, great choice of car Use photobucket to post up some pics.
  13. Better looking than the last lambo 4x4
  14. I really wouldn't have put you down as a Saab driver If it wasn't for our generally sh*tty weather - I would have gone for a drop-top....specially after driving Rosie on a gloriously hot sunny day Always had a soft spot for saabs. Dad used to have one of the saab 99 turbos when i was younger and it was amazing. Accelerated with a huge kick. So i fancied getting one. Was quick and comfortable but i looked around and saw all the other saab convertibles were being driven my maturing ladies so decided to get something that was a little more fun. It was then i met this lot lol its been fun ever since.
  15. I see one potential issue with this idea. Chris's car is probably in his drive ..... I agree that could cause a slight issue
  16. I agree with zugara and id go park and block him in if you can. Idiot.
  17. Yeah we did look at various options, one was to lower the cross member with washers but didnt really fancy doing that as you are reducing the area of contact between the cross member and car chassis. Decided best to leave it all as it was. Glad you got your issue sorted, also indicates its not just a problem with only the stillen
  18. Very ugly with roof up.... Rather harsh. Personal opinion i guess. Heavier and more body flex...... Not that obvious for everyday use. Compared to my old saab 93 turbo its solid as a rock, that thing used to twist on the bends
  19. You are not too far away i see. Lots of members in the area, come along to one of the meets and im sure someone will be ale to give you advice and tips and help out
  20. Personally i love the 350 roadster. Had one for 2 years and loved it. Some people dont like the lines, some complain it looks like a ford ka convertible or looks like a pram when the roof is up but on a sunny day you can do something a coupe cant. Sit back put the roof down, enjoy the sun, the atmosphere and fully appreciate that glorious exhaust. I loved it so much when i decided to upgrade the choice was obvious another roadster Theres hardly any flex so it still handles great, the only issues are a smaller boot and all the issues that come part and parcel with having a folding material roof.
