  1. Hey mate, good to hear you went for the upgrade. Bet you didnt realise Wales would cost you so much. Great choice though and it really makes the car. Best thing is the exhaust note just gets better and better over time. I would advise keeping your 370 stock exhaust. When you come to sell/trade in the 370 you should swap the stock exhaust and sell on the invidia and not lose too much. it wont get you much payback when trading in the car. Regarding the HFC's i loved it but found it a little too much for the car. Check out my youtube video to see the difference As a separate aside - Tarmac did you ever get that exhaust video sorted, we are all still waiting to hear it
  2. Welcome, you are just down the road. You should come along to one of the local meets
  3. I sought our advice when i had roof issues with my 350. Not Fit for purpose basically means there has to be something very seriously wrong with the car to stop it functioning. A roof issue like this would not satisy that criteria unfortunately. Still not a reason to not chase and get them to fix it though, just means you cant hand the keys back within 6 motnhs and walk away with your money saying its Not fit for purpose.
  4. Thanks for the warning dave, i will set my alarm clock half an hour earlier
  5. I like it, nice one enjoy. Will be a lot more comfortable than the z4 and love the sound of the v8
  6. I think its best if we head straight down rather than meeting up with you at 6.30. I dont think the automatic xtrail would keep up. Will give you a bell during the day to meet up
  7. One of my dream cars. A friendof mine has one and ive been around silverstone a couple of times in it. Absolutely amazing and makes a glorious noise.
  8. Tgm in fleet are very good. Not cheap but they will do an excellent job
  9. Thanks for the call and the tips darren, cant wait. I'll try and make the convoy but doubt we will be able to keep up in the xtrail lol
  10. Speak for yourself, im perfect i am, never make mistakes
  11. Good to see you are taking one for the team lol
  12. Lol I was just thinking omg things never go right for this guy and his car then burst out laughing when I read on. Phew
  13. I know it may be a long way to travel but if either of you wanted to pop down and compare you cars to mine to identify exactly where things are different you are more than welcome. I rechecked my windows jsut to be sure and the windows clear the roof lining by quite a margin so there must be a fitment issue with your cars
  14. All the best for lakes this year. Have a good one guys
  15. Yup i remember that car in wales, on a positive the car was well looked after. He kept putting the roof up when it started the rain. Just not hard core enough it was only a light drizzle
  16. Thats crazy do they not have quality control in these places
  17. Sounds like a fault to me. Cant remember any else with a 370 that had this problem though. Hopefully ebized or chris-i will be able to provide some advice as they are very knowledgable when it comes to the 370
  18. Sorry to hear its still not sorted. Really sucks but id keep pestering til its fixed as you shouldnt have to put up with that. It does seem to be a common issue. I remembering reading about some people in the usa who had the roof repaired and the problem reoccurred very quickly. Seems there is an issue with some cars. Im just glad mine isnt one of them. Good luck and ive got my fingers crossed for you
  19. Sorry to hear you are still having hassles with the roof. Those patches are definitely not supposed to be there and that looks like one heck of a rip. its good that the garage are offering to pay half. The roof material is not covered by the warranty unlike the mechanics so they could have just said they wont do anything. The roof on my old 350 looked like it was starting to split but over the 2 years i had it it held but i looked into replacing the roof. You can get it done much cheaper than nissan and also id rather take it to a specialist to get it done rather than nissan. More than likely they will just ship it off to a local bodyshop and get them to do it I will try and find links to the places i was looking at and id give them a call for some advice. Short term solution have you tried the storm sure on the patches to see if that holds. However due to the amount of movement im sure it wont hold long. If i were you i would call a specialist for advice then bite the bullet and get a new roof and ask if the garage will pay half. It sucks but the garages offer is generous and the problem wont go away with a quick fix. Hope you get it sorted.
  20. Hope you get it sorted and have a nice trip down to devon.
