  1. would go well with the stockings
  2. 5k miles now since march
  3. i'll try and check out mine later - im thinking i need new tyres after wales
  4. I've tried both as I had an auto coupe for a week as a courtesy car (gave it a good run on the August Welsh weekend) and now i have a manual roadster. For me personally i really did not get on with the auto. Too many gears and it wouldnt change when i wanted. I found there was too much of a delay in the paddle gear shift as well. Took away a lot of the fun and really didnt like it. In all honesty the auto combined with absolutely no noise from the stock exhaust really put me off the 370. That was until i kept seeing GUNS at all the meets and i tried again with a proper gearbox and exhaust and fell for it big time
  5. half way to being a roadster - cheap summer car i say
  6. Completely understand your feeling. Id be pi**ed off if i had spent that amount of money on a new car and they couldnt fix it or put the car in a satisfactory state. Given the amount of time gone by id be threatening to hand the keys back bit i dont know if thats within your rights. Id have lost total interest in the car as its too little too late. Sorry to hear all this and hope the next car proves to be reliable. Just got to be thankful i dont have those issues with rosie.
  7. I dont envy you that journey. Good luck
  8. Upload to photobucket and post links on here. Search tool will lead you to the how to link photos via photobucket thread

    Golf R32

My friend had one and t sounded like a tvr, was awesome. Maybe he had modded the exhaust. I love golfs, had 2 gtis but the r32 is too similar looking to a normal golf for me for the money. I now like something that stands out.
  10. Thanks docwra be interesting to see how much it cost to hire out Here are a couple more pics from the weekend And a quick vid
  11. Didnt need a licence, nothing was timed it was just an open day for members to have fun. Was talking to one of the committee about potentially hiring the place out for our club if there was interest but not sure on costs. And im sure the hairpin wouldnt be a good idea for some of the lowered cars
  12. Well i've been looking forward to today for quite a while. The day they open up the hill climb to members to take their own cars up for the day. Been looking forward to stretching Rosies legs and would be interesting to see how she handles on the twisties and whether she would bottom out on the sharp left hander She did me proud though, was really stiff through the corners with very little roll. Sounded nice too . Trackion control kept stepping in to kill any power when the wheels started to slip but didnt have the confidence to turn that off as the barriers are never far away. Cracked me up when one bloke walked up to Rosie and said "look son there it is, thats a GTR....." i wish Some gorgeous cars there today, a couple of smashing ferraris and loads of buggattis as usual. Even had a day full of sun shince Heres Rosie all prep'd and ready to go Excuse my little rant at the start, i cut most of it. The porsche in front of me floored it before the start to warm his tyres. Net result was he made too much noise and sprayed loads of blummin rubber all over my bonnet from 25 yards away. I was not impressed lol More to come and a little vid. Takes ages on my prehistoric internet connection
  13. Congratulations on the purchase
  14. Yup had them installed after wales last year
  15. Lol nice one. Reminds me of last year in wales when dave was inviting people out into the capark late at night to "see his dashboard" It gets very expensive if you follow the pied piper and go look at his zed and his exhaust system i managed to resist Though...cough cough
  16. Its tricky to match some of the zed colours. If they didnt have the car at the time to get a perfect match then its just not going to happen. Sorry to say but you get what you pay for and a quick low cost job via a friend may not have been the best choice if you wanted a perfect result.
  17. Congratulations, thats a lovely looking car. Now all you need is a bit of sun shine Enjoy
  18. The surrey roads will be full of zeds soon Welcome on board, there are quite a few of us in surrey, where abouts are you? In an earlier thread we mentioned maybe organising a meet in a local pub so those looking to buy a zed can see and hear them in the flesh and ask any questions before buying
  19. Id give her the black flag then take her off circuit for a dressing down
