  1. Happy birthday Andy. Hope the zed is coming along well
  2. Asked many times before. A quick search popped up a number of results, two of which are linked below. Happy reading http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/69527-manual-v-auto/#entry1036644 http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/86502-whats-faster/#entry1299938 Ultimately it's all down to personal preference
  3. "They also tend to leak ...." Thanks for the clarification as that significantly changes your statement, even though I'd dispute that too. Let's not put people off with random statements. One thing I would say however is if you are going for a roadster look for any wearing on the roof material around the Windows. If there is any sign of wear or contact between the fabric and the window itself walk away. It's a known issue on some cars and cannot really be fixed 100%. good luck with the zed hunt
  4. He's asking about the 370 not the 350. I e never heard of a 370 leaking. And I'm not sure I'd call the roadster awkward
  5. In all honesty only you can answer that question, it's purely down to personal preference. What do you want out of the car? Roadsters will be difficult to get hold of as there are not many and they stopped distributing them in the uk a few years ago. The one thing I would say though is don't feel rushed into a decision, make sure you find the car right for you.
  6. I sorry to hear you had a bad experience with them. We don't need two separate threads on this though http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/105220-warning-oakwood-motor-group-mansfield/ So I'll lock this one and discussion can continue in the other one with more info
  7. Congratulations Sam, enjoy. Lovely looking motor, i bet you will have fun with it
  8. I can honestly say this is one of the nicest zeds i have seen since joining the forum. Immaculate and i love what you have done with it. GLWTS and have fun in the GT4
  9. What specifically should I look for and test with the roof catching the windows, will it be obvious? How will I know they havent put in place a temporary fix already? Just look for any wear around the roof material near the top of the windows
  10. Main thing is if there are any tears or tearing in the roof, or if the roof catches the windows walk away. Dont let the company offer to fix it for you as it will likely re-occur. I know one car that had 3 different hoods replaced and the problem still occurred
  11. Sounds like you have done your research
  12. As a temporary fix before the roof is replaced you can use stormsure, great product they use on wetsuits so it's flexible. Used it on a few patches on my 350z roof
  13. Appreciate the thought but there is one already that is active and managed by the team. No problem at all with you setting up another one if you want to, butt would seem unnecessary and obviously it won't b associated with the forum.
  14. Welcome to the forum. Very envious of the lovely weather you have there bet the car shines well in that sun
