I was speaking to colin the other day about the tyre scrubbing. Its the tyres they provide on the car, they all do it when its cold im afraid. It certainly does feel weird sometimes

I had this on my old zed, was a very quiet hiss. When my car went to abbey for its service i pointed it out and mark tried another zed they had there and it did exactly the same.
