Parked up at a friends house last night to celebrate burns night, left the car there and went to pick it this morning to find someone has keyed the back wing over the wheel arch.....grrrrrrr. Looks like i will be booking it in to tgm for a respray. Dammit.

I went to see Stirling Moss a while ago and he spoke of this race - fantastic event and some amazing roads. His tales were awesome, the fact that at the same time as the race the public were using those same roads to travel from one view point to the other... he said their bubble cars were in the middle of the road and as he overtook them he could see them wobble off the road. They planned a pee stop in the bushes part way along on the practice run then when the real day came they raced along, got to pee stop and saw a huge bandstand there.....no choice they ran behind and peed. I always promised i'd do this event in dads vintage car when it was complete (on going for 30+ years now lol) but i'd love to do this in my zed too I would definitely do this. Be a good laugh with you too

This forum is certainly not the best, ive met people who are like drug dealers getting me addicted to buying mods and trinkets for my car that are totally unecessary, upgrading said car when it was completely unecessary then spending a fortune driving around fantastic roads over over scotland and wales...... Looks like this year it will be wales, europe and then some tracking events.....this has to stop. I love this place and have met some very good friends here, long may it continue. Its really made zed ownership something special.

Pm sent, not really the same issue i had with mine but either way nissan should be able to fix it if its not aligned. If it involves the pedstrian safety system though, to which the bonnet is connected with virtually no give at all, they may run a mile as its a fortune if they **** it up and trigger that safety system.

where abouts are you based? The aldershot nissan garage have been very accomodating with some roof issues i had and they were able to diagnose the problem straight away which was great to see and from my experience a bit of a rarity compared to other nissan dealers. Mind you they are a performance specialist handling GTR's / 370s etc so should know about the zeds. May be worth trying them as a first port of call. Other recommendation is TGM near fleet. Tom goes out of his way to help and has experience with the zeds. WOuldnt have any issue trusting him with the car and he may be able to help too

Im afraid ive learnt im too impulsive and if there is something i like then it will bug me, i'll keep thinking about it and inevitably go buy it. Now i just accept it upfront and go buy it and enjoy rather than ponder and delay.Lifes too short go get it my son and have fun.
